Not a bad place. Their outdoor hot tub was great to relax after a long ride. The rooms are nice and spacious and everyone liked the breakfast. The hotel is a little older.

Wow, I've stayed at dozens of comfort suites for work or pleasure. This one stands out and above their already excellent reputation for me. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is very friendly and their breakfast was the best I've ever had at the chain. Eggs, omletes, sausage, biscuits w/ gravy, Belgian waffles and potatoes.... much more. Incredible. If you are staying in bakersfield I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed

Location does not have a view to the river the way the building is position but ventilation is great. The A/C equipment gets cleaned routinely, and the safeguarded gate makes up for parking comfort with cameras 24/7. Prices are great for the comfy clean rooms. The owners are nice and technically equipped.

Buyer beware, Monet and Jay are crooks. They would not honor Choice Hotels best price guarantee. I booked the same exact room for the same nights as my sister. She was charged $112/night and I was charged $142/night. If the staff was honest, they would have directed me to book online to get the better pricing. It's a shame that they would treat a senior citizen in this manor. I stay frequently in Bakersfield to be with family to see my Grandkids and I often bring my 81 year old mother. Monet refused to extend a common courtesy and honor the Choice Hotels Best Price Gurantee.

Stayed fo a soccer tournament and the place was perfect. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Danielle helped make it that much better. She was just so kind and helpful that she made it even that much better. Will return because of our great experience.

Good- friendly staff; decent breakfast and location was quiet and convenient.
Bad - lots of the furnishing looked really tired, carpets were smelly and dirty plus the carpet in the elevator was in shreds.
There are other hotels nearby. Try those first.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff is amazing. The breakfast is a nice touch and always had a variety of items and the attendants were welcoming and a delight to see. The attendant who works Wednesday to Sunday always had a smile and would ask about your day. That’s a nice touch. The hotel is older and the elevator and hallways need some touch up but the rooms are nicely put together but I will say the rooms are an older version of Comfort Suites and not the newer style. Still it was comfortable.

Stayed 4 nights January 2025 - Rooms were adequate. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was good. Breakfast had hot options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was decent. Would stay again.
