Room was clean and comfortable. Every morning was a new game of “ What piece of leftover food will I find in the elevator today?” Pizza crust, muffins, and other assorted baked goods. Try to get a room on the backside of the hotel, if you are on the front side of the hotel around 0300 you will start hearing the semi’s rolling down the highway and good luck going back to sleep. That isn’t the hotel’s fault though. Also, they have a handwritten sign in the dining room advising that if you take food to your room from the dining room that they will charge an additional cleaning fee of $50.00. That doesn’t apply if you bring in your own takeout or if you order Door Dash. Only if you take food from the breakfast buffet.Would give a better rating if it wasn’t for the ridiculous $50.00 charge or food being left in the elevator

We were able to get past the musty, damp odor in the room, and the fact that the room looked as though it had not been cleaned. The shower curtain had black dirty handprints on it, but the worst part of our stay was the roach infestation. There were at least 20 baby roaches crawling around and our food wasn’t safe in the refrigerator because the roaches were in there too. We stayed for one night and checked out. The place could definitely use a good thorough cleaning and fumigation.

Staff was friendly. The place was not clean!!! Would stay else wear! There were stains on the door, wall in bathroom, on the blinds in the window measuring approximately 3ft by 4" on both sets. Saw a small roach on the second morning. The breakfast room had dried old food that had run down the trash can on the out side. The syrup bottle, chocolate syrup bottle and honey bottle had their contents running down the sides. It doesn't take much effort to wipe things off in the rooms and breakfast room. I honestly don't know who could say this place is clean!

NIce staff, but very poor stay conditions. Slim pickings the week I was in Rome, so we decided on staying in what was said to have 8.2 stars. It was more like a 6. The hotel seems to be "transitioning to a modern vibe, but not presently a very nice atmosphere. The room wasn't dirty, but felt and looked dirty from the poor renovations- shower was dirty and walls were not painted yet. one lamp didn't work. We decided to leave a day early and stay in a new hotel. It isn't up to par with other Country Inn and Suites.

If your looking for a place that the toilet doesn’t work, roaches and uncomfortable bed this is the place for you. While it was scary to see a roach going up and down the wall in the dining area, it was absolutely disgusting when it was crawling over our cloths in the closet. We had booked for two days but after this experience checked out the next day where we were told there would be no refund since we booked through another website.

We did a reservation for two nights which looks like this is not the first time this has happened. We arrived late at night and when we walked in the room it smelled of horrid mildew and the bed was damp. We slept the one night due to the time and checked out. We were told that since it was not within 24 hrs they would be charging us for both nights. I told the manager how would I have known 24hrs ago how disgusting this room would be. They told me they would offer me another room but not refund the second night. Spare yourself a terrible night sleep and a possible respiratory infection and spend the extra $50 to stay next door at the Holiday Inn where they have been more than kind and accommodating! I hope the extra money they kept from us was worth the people reading this review!

I was shocked that this place has 4 star overall reviews. The rooms was nasty. If there was somewhere else to stay, we would have left. The beds were clean and comfy however the shower curtain, carpet, ironing board, couch, and luggage carts were stained and dirty. There was dried food on the couch arm. We laid towels down on the couch to sit our luggage on. Half of the outlets didn't work, the other half were loose. The carpet trim was falling off the wall.
The front desk guy and housekeeper lady was nice but could hardly understand them, and we were in a hurry to get to our event so I didn't have time to show them the room or fuss for a refund. I figured I'd just shoot an email with pictures but of course I can't find an email address anywhere.
My loss I guess but I'd advise to check the 2 hotels to either side of this place. I travel often and I'd compare this to somewhere with 2.5/3 star ratings.
