Just got the “did you enjoy your stay” email. We in fact did NOT enjoy our stay. The hot water valve on the the jacuzzi tub leaked profusely. Which happens, not a big deal. Called maintenance, used towels to soak up the water. However, the jets did not work, and worst of all when we drained the tub, sewer water backed up into the shower and sewer gases bubbled out of the toilet causes the whole cottage to smell like $+*%#. I brought all this up to the person that came to inspect the hot water valve issue. I booked this room specifically for the jacuzzi tub, so you can imagine my disappointment. I was told I would get a call. I emailed asking for partial reimbursement and no response. I finally received a call 4 days later. They offered me 10%. What a joke!!!

This place and the cabin you stay in are what dreams are made of. The room is gorgeous. Beds amazing. The porch is covered and screened off with a door. This is picturesque for a mountain cabin destination. Knowing a few locals helps. This place will take your heart.

We stayed in the promontory cabin, which was lovely. The enclosed porch was great; we were able to nap on the daybed, and enjoy the sunny day time and the cooler evening, without constant bug swatting. We even had a nice takeout breakfast from Osprey Cafe there the next morning.

The room itself was great. Perfect amount of space. Super comfy bed. Love a divided toilet / shower bathroom, as it let's us both get ready and not get in each others' way. Rain shower was wonderful, his and hers sink great - essential for happy couples.

Mini-kitchen was good. We were only there one night, so didn't use it a ton, but if staying longer, it would be really helpful. It was more than enough for keeping water cool, storing some snacks we picked up from Ray's for late night, and of course the glasses and opener for the 1 (or 2) bottles of wine we had. 🙂

Arrival was so smooth, you get a code so you don't have to be sure about your arrival time, which is key for driving destination. We had no pressure to get there at a set time; we were able to stop along the way, see sights, take breaks, and just show up when WE were ready!

And, it is a real bargain! Would 100% stay there again.

Loved coho cottages! Perfect stop on our road trip through northern cal. We stayed in summer cabin which was spacious, super clean, and well equipped and really well designed. Definitely enough space for our family of 4 plus dog. The covered porch was amazing, and I love how all of the cabins are oriented to give everyone the feeling of seclusion. A really nice find in the middle of the forest.

Thoughtful touches and all the comforts of home and then some, the cottages are by far the best place to stay in rural Trinity area. Modern heating and air, easy check in system with electronic locks, and fresh coffee and creamer in the room were some of the highlights. Beautiful garden nearby and a quiet sleep rounded out a great experience. Would return.

What a peaceful and luxurious time we had staying here. Extremely clean, great amenities, cozy furnishings. Totally loved bathing in the clawfoot tub looking out the window at the beautiful trees, then showering in the rain shower. I could've been singing in the rain shower for hours. Definitely will be back, and would actually like to have a family trip sometime and rent numerous cottages.
