Family, friends and I stayed 2 nights in the lodge over the past weekend . They had 207 , 208 and I was in 103. We love spending time in the deck enjoying cocktails and views. Each of our rooms were clean and fitted with the necessary comforts. It was a great base camp to enjoy the surrounding area.... Cottonwood and Jerome. Both are not to be missed

First the cons:
No kitchen curtain, at night very open to see inside.
Needed to wait 5-10 minutes for hot water to make it to our upstairs room. This was also noted by owner.
No lighting over the only two chairs in livingroom/sitting area.( front room), a sofa would be nice also. A lamp would be good to read by.
A dividing curtain for bedroom from kitchen. Bedroom is next to kitchen, very open.
No holding bar in shower, open to slippery falls.
Pros:
King Bed is great
New coffee maker.
IAnd toaster works good.
It was clean.
We made things work, but the "cons" would have been nice to have.thks.pfm

Spacious rooms with kitchen. The hotel is next right to a park and few shops. The management was very quick in responding to our queries. It is a historic hotel and has its own charm. It is also only 5 minutes drive to old town cottonwood and about 25 minutes drive to Sedona downtown.

Stayed in the one bedroom apartment on the first floor with kitchen and bathroom. Was quite warm weather when I visited but the AC unit helped cool things down. TV in the bedroom was a bonus and could stream shows/movies from my bed. Away from the hustle and bustle of Sedona but short drive to it. I would visit Violette's Bakery Cafe nearby for delicious baked goods.

Very cozy and comfortable...home away from home. Has everything you need to be self sufficient OR you can easily walk to a local eatery and/or brewery.

Disappointed. Clean but sorely in need of repair and refurbishing. Exterior is run down and entrance and lobby area had dead flower pots and dirty furniture. There was no one on site greet us or show us to our rooms. Check in was done via email. Interior was musty smelling. Place needed painting and carpet needs replacing. We booked two nights but left after first day.

What a nice surprise to stay at the Clarkdale Lodge for the first time. The suite we were in was huge and had a beautiful view from the the deck of Verde Valley, with an extra treat of having a bird’s eye view of the Verde Valley holiday train lights and celebration. Also, the Lodge is pet friendly with a huge park just across the street for your pup to roam (on leash, of course). The Lodge is a few minutes drive to Old Town Cottonwood and Jerome, that has many wonderful restaurants, art galleries, wine tasting rooms, and hikes. The manager and staff at the Lodge were extremely responsive to all our needs. Thank you, Daniel, for making this an exceptional experience!

Room was nice and comfortable. Didn't realize it was a turn key operation but they were easy to contact by email and phone. Nice back deck for view and good location close to Jerome, Cottonwood & Sedona.
