If you're in bakersfield you are either|A) resident |B) stopping on your way to another town|C) in hiding||I won't tell you which is my option. ||However, I will tell you that this hotel is so charming! Between the koi pond in the front of the hotel and the randomn Aston Martin parked in lobby (belonged to Kobe Bryant), lace curtains in rooms, lush trees surrounding massive pool, I am very happy to choose this hotel for each of my trips here from now on ||Audra at front desk it's so sweet and so knowledgeable. My comfort was indeed a priority.||Restaurant is attached to the hotel and everybody.There is just fantastic.|The food is only $7 if you dine there and stay at hotel. That's unheard of and because of that, and my sheer complete laziness to go anywhere else, I chose the restaurant next to the hotel for all of my meals which were a great. Pizza made fresh and fabulous. |Bed was A+ |Parking is easy and secure. |Definitely, five stars for what they are trying to achieve in this city.

If you have friends in town this hotel does not let you have them come meet you at there establishment. Tried to have local friends come swim with us before dinner and got told if we did not leave the pool promptly that we would be charged 20$ per person. This was supposed to be a no smoking hotel and the entire lobby and hall ways smelt like weed. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone with a family or trying to spend time with there friends and family in town.

Terrible experience!! First room the TV didn't work, so we were moved no problem. Then the second room was worse!! Huge roach in the bathroom, phone didn't work to call for help, no hott water, and staff that could care less about any of these issues! The best part about this hotel is the huge pool being open late.

Paradise for a low price. First the Coy Pond is beautiful. Then you come in, to a great staff. Rooms are clean, and comfortable. The pool is cool, and clean, the jacuzzi is great! Surrounded by trees, and plants. It’s like paradise. And all for a low price. And free breakfast! I love this place. ❤️😁

I will definitely stay here again. Great value and while the rooms need updating, they have obviously started where they can and where it counts (brand new carpet for sure). The front desk and restaurant staff is outstandingly polished and welcoming, to the point where it kind of feels like staying with family. Not sure how they find so many great people! The service does not feel at all like a budget hotel, although some of the decor does (and I mean, they are priced like it so why not). The restaurant is cute and a good value.

The basics are all functional— room is warm and clean and plenty of hot water

Our stay was only for 1 night and I was glad it was only for 1. The place is in a quick centralized location but that was the best part from it. The parking is not designed well and you have one way arrows that are not actually one way adding to the confusion, there was a old school hot rod parked literally right outside our window and so we heard it turn on in the middle of the night. The carpet felt like it had been flooded and dried poorly, there was actually a corner of the room where the carpet was damp, not sure if it was due to the recent rain that had occurred, but when I mentioned it to front staff they just brushed it off as if it was nothing, not apologizing or anything. Cable was minimal without a guide button on the remote. When I received my checkout receipt print, they had printed it on recycled paper and there was another persons itinerary on the back, they simply crossed it off and that was it. This is not a 3 star hotel.

Dear Hotel Management,

I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding my recent stay at your property on the evening of March 28th, 2025. I had traveled a long distance to participate in an important tournament and, unfortunately, encountered several issues upon my arrival that were far from welcoming.

Upon check-in, my room key did not work, requiring me to return to the front desk three separate times for assistance. The staff member on duty—a woman with straight black hair and white strands at the front—handled the situation unprofessionally, accusing me of not knowing my room number and being unhelpful when I inquired about parking arrangements.

Additionally, when I requested an extra towel and blanket for a friend arriving later, she insisted this was against policy and that I would need to officially add another guest to my room. When I expressed frustration about the repeated key card failures, she even threatened to call the police—a completely unnecessary and inappropriate response.

Thankfully, another staff member—a gentleman who spoke Spanish—came to my room, where I was able to demonstrate that the door lock was indeed faulty and that my key card was not functioning properly. While I appreciated his assistance, it was disheartening to have been wrongly accused in the first place.

What made the experience even more frustrating was the change in demeanor of the front desk staff member when my friends arrived later that evening. She treated them with kindness, provided extra towels and blankets without issue, and did not charge any additional fees—the same request that she had denied me earlier.

Due to my apprehension about being locked out again, I chose not to move my car to the gated parking area, despite it being the safer option. I was simply too exhausted to deal with another potential issue with the room key.

Earlier in the day, another staff member—a professional and friendly African-American woman—had assured me that I could receive extra towels and blankets when I returned. Her hospitality and professionalism stood in stark contrast to the treatment I received later that night.

Furthermore, when I informed the front desk about a bug in my room, she completely ignored my report. I have video recordings documenting both the fly in the room and the malfunctioning digital key card. If you are interested, I would be happy to provide these files as evidence.

Lastly, when checking in, she repeatedly asked, “Who is Hamed? Who is Peter?” even though she was holding my government-issued ID and I was standing directly in front of her. This level of dismissiveness and unprofessionalism is unacceptable.

If there is any doubt about my reservation or my account with your hotel, I urge you to check your booking records, security cameras, and internal software system. If you are still unable to find my reservation, then there may be a serious issue with your system that requires immediate attention.

I do not appreciate being accused of dishonesty or subjected to discriminatory behavior. As someone who values professionalism in the hospitality industry, I expect a higher standard of service and accountability.

I appreciate your immediate attention to this matter and hope that my feedback will help improve guest experiences in the future.

The room was exactly as advertised on The Choice App - clean, quiet and comfortable. An added bonus was the safe and secure parking located behind the hotel with security fencing and gates. A total peace of mind knowing that my vehicle was in good hands.

Finally, the best surprise was that the entire staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel if needed and will frequent it when I'm back in the Bakersfield area. Thank You! ❤️
