If you want to wake up every morning with fresh bedbug bites and be hassled by an incredibly rude and hostile management, this is the place for you. A real dump, next to busy railroad and overpriced. You can do a lot better. Don't stay here. Threatened to call police on me because I reported to county health department.

My husband and I are driving Route 66 from MO to CA and wanted to stay at kitschy, quirky motels. We had booked in Tulsa, but were ready to stop earlier. I called the Claremore Motor Inn - they had one room. Most others in the area were completely booked. The lady I spoke to was very kind and helpful. We arrived a short time later. There were several people sitting outside the rooms almost like they lived there or something- most seemed to know each other. We were booked into a room and carried our things upstairs and into a room that was humid, seemed clean, but the vibe of the whole place made me very uncomfortable. We tried to lock the door and the deadbolt wouldn’t work without my husband having to pulled up on the door hard and then lock it. We ended up checking right back out and they said I would get a refund because I told them that I felt uncomfortable with all the people just hanging around. The sigh from the owner told me it’s probably not the first time he’s heard that. It has the potential to be super cute, but definitely was not the cute, kitschy place we were looking for.

Every hotel in town was filled up. So I was told to go here and it was kind of pricey but when I checked in and finally had my own dinner. Was not paying attention and seen roaches in my food so I lost my appetite. Then the toilet was not working and for some reason the was valve was off . Then between 9pm till 2 am upstairs stomping on the floor. So we roaches, toilet doesn't work oh ya key card didn't work either. I'll never go back.

Had a relative staying there. This place is nice and clean and the rooms are pretty good size. The people who run the place are really very nice and bend over backwards to help you. Not the greatest of locations if that isn't important to you give them a try

This place is absolutely DISGUSTING!! Not only did it smell super strongly of cigarette smoke, there was a gaping hole in the shower behind the hot/cold handle, the toilet wasn’t attached to the floor and we were given ONE washcloth and no toilet paper (not even any on the toilet paper dispenser!)

There was a huge mound of garbage piled in the hallway that looked as though it had been there for weeks. Needless to say, I left immediately with my three kids and found an actual clean and safe place to stay.

Avoid this place at all costs- it’s not worth any price!!!

If it was possible to give a 0 ⭐️ I would. The man was upset I had my 3 year old son with me. Told me “better not make noise”. My son and I both had issues with the strong smell in the room. So much that, my son threw up while sitting on the edge of the bed. When I went down for help, the man (monster. He’s not a “man”) told me I was responsible for the cleaning of the carpets and the bed sheets. So I ended up having to take a disgusting comforter that was previously stained to a local laundry mat and pay to wash and dry it. I refused to rent a shampooer for their floor because I didn’t have the money. To my “surprise”, the comforter came out looking almost brand new which proves they NEVER wash the bed dressings at all. ||||The place is disgusting. The people are disgusting. Pay the extra $10 and stay somewhere else- or better yet, stay at Laquinta here in claremore. They’re clean, friendly and same price. (NO, I do not and have never worked for them- nor do I know anyone from there.... I have just stayed there before.)

When we opened the door, we were immediately hit with a foul odor. Very musty mildew smell. We thought maybe it just needed to air out a little. The air conditioner wasn't on so we turned it on and down to cold. Went out to get dinner. We stopped at Dollar General across the street and picked up a bottle of febreeze. When we got back the room still stunk so I sprayed down the carpet, chairs and drapes. Waited 15 minutes but no change in the smell. I have allergies and there is no way I could have slept in that room. My husband took the key back and told him we couldn't stay in that room. The clerk said ok and took the key. No offer to change rooms. No offer of a refund. So we drove home instead of staying overnight. Called hotels.com about getting a refund but motel refused saying "we didn't mention the smell". Why would we leave a PREPAID room without a good reason? Have now filed a complaint with BBB and reported room to the Health Dept..
