Marc and Susie were super nice, provided delicious meals and interesting conversation. They had lots of information on what to do and see locally, and were able to help us out when our car plans needed changing! The room was quit spacious and very comfortable, with a nice view of the Clackamas river right across the street. The garden out back looked very pretty and like it would be fun to hang out in, but it was October and wet…we’ll have to come back in summer! Thanks Marc and Susie for a really nice stay!

As it is with most places, it is the people who make the stay a pleasant and joyous one. Marc and Susie are wonderful hosts and made us feel that we were a part of their family. The facility is beautiful and well kept. Our favorite area is the back yard which is like going into a unique space and time with its own waterfall and other attractions that you need to see to appreciate. Suffice it to say we will be back for another stay!

Marc and Susie are rad! Two of the nicest people you will meet. We spent our 10 year anniversary there and the area is small but has lots of eating options for all budgets and also you are in the woods and on the river. The room we had was super cozy and we also had a jacuzzi tub. We are planning to go back soon. Highly recommend.

If want to find a place that makes you feel right at home in a cozy & relaxed environment, then look no further this is the place! Loved the area, Marc’s recommendation for a dinner experience “ Stone Cliff” was amazing. The best part was making friends with our hosts!

Thank you to Marc & Susie for opening your home to us for a couple of nights! The room was perfect, the bed was so comfortable, and the gourmet breakfast each morning when we woke up exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed the fire pit, the fireflies (light show in the trees), the waterfall in the backyard and chatting with you both during our short visit. Close to the river, restaurants and hiking trails! Highly recommend this bed & breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing spot with the best hosts!

Marc and Susie, We can't thank you enough for your amazing generosity during our stay at your magical Clackamas River House! We felt so welcomed and loved during our stay! From the comfort of your home to the ease of the breakfasts and the beautiful backyard environment both morning and night complete with a mesmerizing firefly nighttime display by the fire! There were so many memorable moments with you both! I especially loved our river trip! We laughed so much along the way! We are looking forward to many more visits to share with you both! What a find this place was! I was caught short and needed a place to stay. I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before this. It sounded nice, the price and location were right, so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! The food was delicious with home grown ingredients. Marc and Bev were such nice people, and we had just great conversations over the lovely breakfasts in a peaceful, beautiful back yard which has it's own little waterfall! I felt very welcome and comfortable, and as a single woman felt very safe. The Oregon room overlooks the Clackamas River and was very comfortable and roomy, (and pretty, too) and the private bathroom has a jacuzzi bathtub in addition to a shower. I plan to return and would highly recommend Clackamas River House to other travelers.

My 4 year old Son & I came across this little gem when the one hotel in Sandy Oregon was booked . I am extremely glad that we did. The owners were extremely welcoming & had a lot of patience with my excited & overly tired child lol . The house was cozy, the breakfast was delicious & the back yard was the icing on the cake . I absolutely LOVE the backyard. I felt like I was back in Oahu in an oasis of sorts . I had a great time chatting with both Mark & Susie. I was beyond impressed to find out that Mark had done all of the landscaping & wood work himself . I could go on and on . We had a great time & I would highly recommend . I plan on staying again whenever I am in the area. Thank you so much !
