Great little camp ground. Dwight is the gentleman who runs the campground and is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Sites all back up to a beautiful lake view and are all tree covered to keep you cool. There is a swimming area in the lake, freesbie golf and regular golf on site a
nd plenty of open areas as well. The wifi works great, too. Found this place while escaping a hurricane and will definitely be back. Everyone in the town was nice and the food was great.

My name is Charles Martin and I live in Eight mile Alabama. Citronella Park is only 27 miles from my house and once I arrived I actually was immediately welcomed by Mr. Dwight. The flat concrete pads are a plus but the pictures and the other reviews left by prior people do this park no justice. It is truly a hidden gem. I found that most of the campers there like the family oriented atmosphere. maneuvering around the park was very nice and easy as well as the friendly faces that I met in the three days that I was there. I truly truly plan on spending more time there as It is so close.

This was an overnight stay for us with a great value of $20 for a spacious pull thru ($2 extra if we wanted sewer). Many of the sites are paved and many on the lake - again, all very spacious. The paved roads were easy to maneuver. The attendant was friendly and very helpful! This is a real gem.

Just passed through for the night and we will be planning on returning to stay a few nights next time. Absolutely beautiful park. $22 for full hook ups. Great place to escape as there is limited cell service. My Verizon didn’t work at all but AT&T had a bar or two. There is a beach close by for the lake, frisbee golf, a golf course nearby and We will kayak next time for sure!

First, a little about us. My name is Angel and my fiance's name is Cory. We travel full time because my fiancé is a pipe welder. SO wherever the money is, we go. Lately covid-19 has kept us close to home (Mobile,AL) because there is really no jobs going on.
First, the park host is a great guy and has plenty of good stories to tell. Weekly rates are $125.00. View is gorgeous from most sites. We were on site number 12 but you cant go wrong with most of them. Cell service isnt the greatest. I never went into the bathhouse so I can't say how clean it is although I do know it was cleaned every morning. I walk in the mornings and this park was a very peaceful place to walk. Overall, this was a great place and hope we are able to return. We were only there for a week but sure wish it could have been longer.

Beautiful little campground. Nice and well maintained. Attendants were great!
So quiet and peaceful. Loved the early morning and late evening walks. You can Fish, kayak, swim, bike, hike or just hang out around the camp waiting on that perfect sunset.

Rv Park has bathrooms, showers, and laundry. Great fishing, limited cell service, and some really friendly boomers. Watch out for the rebar tripping hazards they left at the back of each campsite thought, bit of a hatchet job if you ask me. Great swimming nearby. The area is a credit to the fine state of Alabama. After staying here, we can roll a little tide... just a little thought!

We were treated very well. The people that managed the park ask us what could be done to make our stay better, We made some suggestions and plan on going back at a later date to check out the improvements. The park is beautiful with several concrete slabs with full hook-ups. We had a club house so that we cold get together for our meals and game playing, Our club will go back and some of us will go back without the club. There are some things that need to be done to the club house and I believe that they will do all that they can to improve them. Great weekend...…..
