Had their food for a catered event. The empanadas were so good. The chicken mole was a bit dry but flavor was good. I would recommend it for an outing.

Cielo is a delightful culinary experience with amazing food and service. Jonathan made sure we had an excellent time and Tina was absolutely an amazing server. From the perfect old fashion to the outstanding starters, you can not go wrong. However, it doesn't stop there. The entrees were all cooked to perfection and the flavors were tantalizing to the tongue. Oh and there is an amazing proposal popping view to take in as well. Cielo is a must on your dining list.

The location of this restaurant is stunning with the view of the McDowell mountains. You can sit inside or outside which is wonderful. Our room came with continental breakfast however, on the first day it was pretty pitiful. I don’t know if they ran out of yogurt or what but it was barely, a spoonful of yogurt on the bottom of my glass with a granola and a limited selection for pastry. My husbands eggs Benedict were more like hard-boiled eggs. When we said something to the server about it, he just shrugged us off and we werel still charged for it. However, that being said the next couple days, it was much better. We did go to Cielo for dinner one night, it was lovely and the food was very good. so I do recommend it as it’s lovely dining outside. I wish there was more than just this restaurant to choose from at the resort, but it is what it is.

Hidden gem! 10/10 experience even with a few hiccups. Definitely plan to go back! The new chef, Chef George, came out and greeted us, talked with us about the many changes coming and it's very exciting! Lots of changes happening to the menu and newer wait staff, so have patience and empathy everyone is adjusting. I hope to see some beautiful creative mocktails added to the menu! I will absolutely be back šŸ‘šŸ¼ thank you for an incredible birthday lunch šŸŽ‚

Went for a nice evening to have dinner and enjoy the sunset on the superstition mountains. The service and pleasant nature of staff was very nice, especially Mason our server. He suggested lavender in my old fashioned and that made it fabulous. The scallops and shrimp scampi we had were good and the farro risotto was a different offering to try. I definitely recommend Cielo as a very lovely romantic place to dine for any or no occasion ā˜ŗļø

We had dinner at Celio while staying at the resort.

TL:DR

-Milion dollar views for a unique sunset dinner without the accompanying price tag.

Wonderful setting and great ambienceĀ  even moreso if you reserve a table on the patio ahead of time, which I highly recommend booking a sunset dinner reservation in advance thru OpenTable.

We had live music during dinner (Guy doing covers on acoustic guitar).

Celio recently made changes to their menu.

I ordered a rare cookedĀ  "Steak + Frites"Ā  steak was truly unremarkable.Ā  It was tender but bland.

It was mostly resuced by an amazing Chimichurri but that is something that should be reserved for less cuts of beef.Ā  Not everyone is a fan of ChimichurriĀ  sauce.

ButĀ  28 day dry-agedĀ  USDA Prime steak should stand by itself and not need to be hidden under accoutrements or sauces.

I belive the steak wasn't left to rest after cooking and it was pre-cut for "presentation".Ā  I was expecting a NY strip and not medallions.

My wife order the vegetarian/GF option:Ā  "Stuffed acorn squash" it was trujy much better than I was expecting.Ā  My wife thought it was wonderful and delicious.

We truly enjoyed the Coconut Panna Cotta woth Pineapple for desert it was excellent it helped make the meal over all.

Amber our server took some great dinner photos of us.Ā Ā  As well as a provided excellent an attentive service.

I booked a sunset reservation ahead of time thru Open Table as I wanted us to be seated on the patio for sunset for Saturday dinner.

The battery operated led table lamp and replacement strobed and died  making it hard to see our food as the sun had set when our entrées arrived.

Matt the Food and Beverage manager came around to the table and welcomed us.

Your paying for ambience over sustenanceĀ  or consistent excellence from the kitchen.Ā  If you come with this expectation you won't be disappointed.

Its a great place for a special occasion.

"The highest elevation in Fountain Hills offers some amazing views of the town, the Fountain (when going off) and the surrounding mountains of 4 Peaks (El Oso), The Goldfields and the Superstition"

Our experience was fabulous for food and view. I believe all was overpriced. Joey was a fantastic. We ordered fish, lamb, short rib and a filet, all cooked perfect. Tried the green chili corn chowder, a lot of corn, no green chilies, I make much better!
I WOULD RECOMMEND

I can’t remember the last time I had such awful service at a restaurant. My family wanted to visit me while I was in town so i suggested this restaurant as I’m staying at the resort the next few days. Huge mistake. I was so embarrassed to have my family dine somewhere that didn’t even bother to give us cutlery or napkins. We waited 30 minutes until I had to go tell the host we hadn’t been helped or even greeted. I’ll definitely NOT be dining here the rest of my stay or even visiting the bar. Cielo definitely takes #1 in the worst service I’ve had this year.
