The place is clean and I enjoyed the atmosphere. I don't know if I went at the wrong time, but the broth was super concentrated cinnamon. I've never had so much cinnamon in a broth before. You could smell it like it was a hot tamale candy or a big red chewing gum. The cinnamon actually bled into the noodles, so while you put your head down and got a big wiff of cinnamon, you also got a mouthful of cinnamon. Total mood killer. The meat was tender and was the saving grace here. I tried to ask about the cinnamon, but the staff couldn't understand me and I gave up asking about it.

Also, $19 for the portion is really expensive.

I order 3 phos to go. I live out of town and we don’t have pho where I live. I didn’t want to cook dinner after a long business trip. I was very disappointed in all three plates. Very skimpy with everything. There was three think slices of beef for the beef pho. I should have walked out when the girl that was taking my order had a mouth full of food the whole time, but I gave it a chance. Won’t go back on my next trip

I absolutely love this place! I love pho and tried to find amazing options and this place is my top favorite. The staff is wonderful and the place is always clean. My boyfriend and I usually get the 22 and 23 with a side of spring rolls (2) which is our go to dinner for cold nights and tasty cravings.

The food quality is really bad. They have the cheapest sauces and their pho doesn’t taste pho at all!!
I used to go there a lot but now it’s really bad.

The service was great and everyone was super friendly and served me with a smile. Got food for my sick co worker and I and it instantly revived us. Food is amazing! Best pho in town.

"Okay" is probably the best single-word summary I have for this place. I was visiting Flagstaff with my parents for a couple of days, and we were randomly really craving Vietnamese food. After combing through Yelp for a couple of hours, we eventually settled on Chopstix, although I do have to admit that I was a bit wary considering the multiple reviews mentioning food poisoning. We decided to take a chance anyway, and, thankfully, the risk (mostly) paid off! I ordered their vegetarian pho, which was served with fried tofu, onions, carrots, broccoli, and cabbage in a delightfully flavorful vegetarian broth (which, as my other pho-loving vegetarians know, is remarkably difficult to pull off). My parents tried their pho tom (shrimp) and pho dac biet (brisket, tripe, and tendon), and we shared an order of goi cuon chay (vegetarian spring rolls) between the three of us. The spring rolls were absolutely delicious and honestly really filling and refreshing -- I probably could've just eaten two rolls and left pretty satisfied.

Thankfully I persevered and was able to try out their incredible pho; the broth was impressively flavorful, which the tofu just soaked right up, making each piece a little flavor bomb. The vegetables were a little bit undercooked for my taste, but still pretty solid, and they were really generous with their portion of veggies! Almost everything was fresh and delicious, but the thai basil that they served on the side was definitely past its prime (I could see little dots of black mold on the leaves), so do beware of some of their produce. My parents thought that their shrimp and beef pho were alright -- comforting and hearty as all pho is, but nothing particularly special.

Beyond the food, the service was solid. We were seated immediately, and the food came out really quickly. Our server was kind, but I didn't appreciate that he gave me a bit of attitude when I asked him to substitute the peanut dipping sauce for the vegetarian spring rolls for something else because I have a life-threatening allergy. He didn't necessarily say this, so perhaps I'm overthinking it, but it seemed like he didn't want to be bothered by my request and thought that I might as well just not order the item, then. The restaurant was also incredibly empty (there wasn't anyone else there aside from us, even though it was 7 PM on a Saturday), so he didn't have much else to do. We could even see him watching TV on his phone from behind the counter the entire time, so I'm not sure what he was in such a rush to get back to.

Overall, Chopstix is okay. If you're really craving Vietnamese food, it's probably one of your best choices in Flagstaff, but be prepared to check your dishes for freshness, potentially deal with slightly rude staff, and have a very average meal.

We were attended quickly and kindly, the waitress took no time to bring us water and was patient to wait for us to choose our dishes, for us, we ate pho noodles and fried rice, both dishes were really good.
