I'm a fan of Detroit style pizza when it's done right, but the challenge with some of the options in town is that the dough ends up a little overproved or not quite dosed right (flour/water ratio), so you end up with a dense and chewy crust particularly towards the center. Chonie's however says "hold my beer!" and completely hits that challenge right out of the park! I had the best dang Detroit style pie that I think I've ever had. Just awesome. Nicely crisped crust, a bit crunchy yet airy. Just delightful. Good toppings and sauce flavors, as well as cheese proportions too. Top notch, I will definitely be back.

Had Chonie’s Pizza a couple weeks ago while I visited Bend. The pizza was amazing. Very friendly and fast service. Gather your friends and family and enjoy the best pizza in Bend. Can’t wait to go back!!🍕

Nice people , service was fine.but my pizza was burnt really bad !!!pretty much all the pepperoni was burnt to a crisp pretty disappointing !! Should have said something about it too me like sorry I burnt your pizza would you like me to make you another or maybe a refund? But nope here is your burnt pie 😅

Been here a few times with my family and every time the food and service was amazing! It is our new favorite food truck because the sauces and ingredients taste so fresh and homemade.
