On a quick downhill slope. Camp and picnic area has one pit toilet for 10 sites, tables are starting to decay or are damaged, litter is becoming an issue. Told the area is jammed on weekends. Stayed 2 days due to weather. Security runs by,lit boat launch. No animals seen, and posted FOR hunting.

Gates were locked and trash all over, locals need to respect the land better, probably why the gates were shut!

Nothing better than being in the woods along the Ole Tom! I've been coming here for as long as I can remember and since I was a little girl. It's so peaceful and relaxing.
