The staff are always courdious, polite, and well-mannered, and you can tell they care about you and attending to your needs. Restrooms are always very clean. They have a HUGE selection of slot machines, table games, and more. I especially like going on a weekend when they have a live band performing.
My wife and I have lost more than a thousand dollar voucher, embarrassingly more than once, more like 3-5 times, and they were quick to track it down! They have gotten the vouchers back to us all but one time, and that was because someone had seen me drop it, went to a kiosk and cashed it, and immediately left the property! They remained hopeful to continue to try and collect the money from the individual, they called me everyday, or ever other day for almost 10 days. These guys are awesome. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, safety, family friendly, polite, and attentive!

Decent amenities such as a nice movie theater and plenty of food options. If you have kids, they would have fun. There are some good signature drinks at the Mason Jar Bar. Food prices are high but drink prices are alright. The overall casino is quite clean. I haven't stayed at the hotel, yet, as I have never hit a win here and don't plan on it for the foreseeable future. The amenities are fun, but there isn't enough to do aside from gambling, the main point of the casino, that would warrant me wanting to stay.

The biggest problem with the casino side of things is the extremely tight slots. Every time I have visited, I've left empty handed. They are a business, first and foremost, and it clearly shows here. I've visited many other casinos throughout Oklahoma, Nevada, and Louisiana. Choctaw has to be one of the tightest casinos I have ever been to.

If you're looking for a good night of gambling at a bigger Oklahoma casino, Winstar might be the better choice. If you're looking for a fun place to hang out or bring the kids in Durant, then Choctaw is definitely a solid choice.

I had a great experience overall. The Rewards Club staff were friendly, and the table dealers were helpful and informative whenever we had questions. I stayed in the Sky Tower, and the room was very clean, modern, and comfortable. What stood out to me in the casino was the non-smoking section—I really liked not smelling like cigarettes afterward—and the convenience of self-serve non-alcoholic drinks. There weren’t a lot of blackjack tables, but it wasn’t too busy during my visit, so I didn’t have to wait to play. I tried both the Smashed Burger and Guy Fieri’s restaurant and enjoyed them both

We recently stayed at the Choctaw Hotel and Casino, and I am extremely disappointed with our experience, especially in how my concerns were handled by the management.

During our stay, the elevators were not functioning properly, which created a significant inconvenience, especially for my 75--year-old mother and mother-in-law who had to walk down 13 flights of stairs carrying heavy luggage. We tried multiple times to call the front desk for assistance, but the line was constantly busy. We then encountered hotel employees in the stairwell, but there was no communication about alternative elevators or any help offered. We were frustrated and unsure of how to proceed.

When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the front office manager, Roland Deguilmo, I found his response to be dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than acknowledging the inconvenience or offering any empathy, his tone suggested that we were not being truthful about our experience. There was also an insinuation that the employees we encountered may not have been hotel staff, which felt inappropriate and undermining.

While I understand that the weather caused some unforeseen issues, I believe the hotel could have done a much better job of communicating, ensuring safety, and assisting guests in need of accommodations. As a result of this experience, I wanted to caution others about how concerns are handled at this hotel.

I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves its customer service, as this could have been handled much better. I am disappointed by the lack of effort to make things right.

Stayed at the RV park. Overpriced if you’re not a regular. Hookup was nice paved pull through. Electric showing age, but worked fine. Unfortunately we had a rough windy drive and didn’t go into the Casino or RV game room. Guy working the check in was not welcoming or friendly at all. The “free” shuttle service appeared to be well organized. Will have to figure out how to get a reasonable rate. Not worth > $80 a night

Service: Rewards Club staffs were nice. Table dealers were informative and helpful when we had questions. Front desk seem to be training new team member when we checked in. Did like how she asked what floor we want and gave my daughter the highest floor that she wanted. Checking out had a slight issue and they charged me something very small that I confirmed twice before leaving resort that I didn't owe. I didn't mind paying but it's the principal that counts. Did I dispute it with them? Yes, and they were very helpful and nice about it.

Room: Very clean and modern at the Sky Tower. The room was clean but my daughter ended up with two bed bug bites on the last day...on the highest floor 😔.

Casino: I love how I'm not wreaking of cigarettes as they have a non smoking section and how I can self serve myself with non alcoholic beverages. I didn't win at all but had fun. When my husband played, he won what I lost through tables and slots so we left with no losses.

Arcade & Bowling was a hit for the kids. Spent $140 at the Arcade and the staffs were friendly and helped when something got stuck. Only downfall is, they only serve one customer at a time when redeeming points which could take forever when kids can't make up their minds. Didn't do movies since there wasn't anything my youngest would sit through so maybe next time.

Next time if I do go, I'd want to experience the pool or another location of theirs.

I recently celebrated my birthday weekend getaway at the casino in Durant. The location offers a unique blend of city and country vibes, being approximately 45 minutes from Allen, Texas, and an hour from Dallas. The casino itself is impressive, boasting an extensive selection of games. The food court is satisfactory, albeit slightly pricey. My children thoroughly enjoyed the arcade and movie theater.

However, I found the overall atmosphere at the casino to be somewhat lacking. I had anticipated a more vibrant nightlife scene, featuring a spacious bar with a DJ and a diverse music selection catering to all tastes. Unfortunately, the only prominent bar on site focuses on country music. While this may appeal to some, I felt that it did not adequately cater to a broader audience. In comparison, I have visited the casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which features a live DJ and offers a more dynamic and enjoyable experience. I hope you will consider my feedback regarding the music selection.

The spa was exceptional. The ladies are kind. it. Additionally, check-in was a seamless and efficient process. Will be coming back.

Myself and one other have been coming here close to once a month for years. I have also been playing online for years on and off. If you are looking for slots avoid this place as the payouts are awful. I was max betting a machine and hit three different jackpots. Max bet was 6 dollars, my payout 10-15. I would rather you just take my money than the whole oh you won but you didn't charade. I was also playing the online, buying chips, and had connected accounts. Perks you say......15.00. I get more at Winstar and I don't play online or have an account. The payouts online are almost as bad as in the casino. I mean you act like you are giving people real money. No problem to gamble down 2-10million, playing 50k bets, and not hit anything. So, we are out. Only reason not a one star, the hotel seams nice, it is generally clean, and they appear to offer plenty of entertainment. What is ironic is that there was a couple walking out as we were walking in last week and the guys wife was saying the same thing. I get it, not everyone can win, but they have been consistently low for a while. I know, no loss for them as we don't throw a ton of money at it, but still.
