The people who work here are polite however they were not very welcoming when I went to order for the first time. They were not by any means unkind… just not thrilled that I had questions and maybe needed some guidance when ordering. There was a leak in the restrooms and water on the floor and in the hallway so they may have been distracted by the situation. The food was not as fresh as I had hoped for a coffee shop that is not a chain since the options seemed ultra processed. I thought it would be different than frozen prepackaged food. The coffee was not horrible.

I wish we found this place sooner. It’s right beside a record store my husband loves. The employees were so kind, the service was quick, and the coffee was delicious. It has a small community coffee shop vibe. There were people studying, reading, and socializing. It was a genuinely enjoyable experience.

My favorite place to escape, even if just for a moment. The service is always quick and helpful when I’m indecisive. The food selection is always vast and fresh, sometimes I want a macaroon, sometimes a beef patty will do. Vegan cakes?! And the coffee has made me a snob 🤷‍♀️ chain coffee will never do once you taste the freshly roasted goodness at ChocoLaté. Lastly, atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Feels like it’s been lived-in by this community for many moons. Love meeting clients here. Try the Romania Latte, you’re welcome ☺️

We hired ChocoLaté Coffee to cater a 3-day tournament, and everything was phenomenal! The staff arrived on time every morning, were incredibly helpful, and genuinely friendly. The coffee and pastries were delicious, and the staff provided outstanding customer service. We'll absolutely order from them again next time we're in the Atlanta area!

Cute little place. This is a chain I believe but their coffee tastes a lot better than Starbucks and the sugar ridden Dunkin. I am on the hunt for coffee or milk tea places without too much noise and this shop fits the bill!

There are definitely people talking but that's just the nature of the coffee shop. I definitely see myself coming back here to study and a little snack here and there. They have the cakes that matter: Red Velvet, Tiramisu, Tuxedo Cake, and BROWNIES!

Spotted by this cute local coffee shop that was close by. They have a decently sized menu with a lot of dessert type drinks. The staff was super friendly and sociable! I’d love to come by more and try more drinks. Unfortunately when I was there, they ran out of vanilla and lavender, which was okay. I wound up picking a spiced chai latte! They had good spice flavor; she mentioned having cardamom, ginger, and clove. I wish it were spicier but it was my first time! They definitely take customizations; it’s a small shop with loving regulars. Inside, there’s a lot of chairs and tables. They also have a reward program with your number but there’s some stipulations about it on the board. There’s plenty of parking in the plaza too!

ChocoLaté surpassed my expectations. It’s in a not so amazing strip mall plaza thing, but the inside of the coffee shop has a cozy vibe, and is quite spacious.

Also, the staff was super friendly, and recommended something really special when I asked what they’d suggest. Definitely a spot for dessert kind of coffee drinks, but I’d absolutely recommend. Go with the (sorta) secret menu item: blended cookies and cream with a coffee base, instead of milk base. It’s pretty fantastic.

My favorite place in Decatur for coffee and get some work done on the weekends. I’m an Americano order. Great service always. Good tasting espresso and always comes piping hot. Great on any day, but especially on these chilly winter ones. I recommend trying an iced lavender latte if you’re looking for something flavored.
