Just got back from a weekend here. My wife and I were surprised at how beautiful the grounds are, it's really special. The service was excellent, and everybody was so friendly to work with. The layout is a bit tricky if you're trying to get to different areas of the hotel. The food was fantastic, and we though priced fair, although a dedicated coffee station would have been nice. The rooms were excellent with amazing views if you get an inward facing one. Overall, a special place in Ohio for a weekend getaway.

I have never written a review of anything before but I just had to show my appreciation for this hotel. I stayed here for a Denison Admitted Students Event which was my first time traveling solo, my room was simple but very nice (I loved the bathtub) and very quiet. I ate a delicious burger at the bar. The staff were super friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Granville Ohio.

The rooms are incredibly spacious and staff was attentive.
The courtyards are truly beautiful and there's a chance you can get a room with direct access to them. Unfortunately we got a room with a view of 161.
The hotel itself is an absolute maze and not very wheelchair accessible.
It would be excellent for a murder mystery set, though.

Did a quick overnight at this hotel while attending a wedding reception nearby. Staff was friendly even when they were seemingly having a rough night. Room was nice for the price with good upgrades and modern. Can’t say I like the huge TV on the wall hanging over bed side but not many options. ||Restaurant for breakfast buffet on the weekend was fine but we couldn’t order Ala cart so one of us wasn’t thrilled as nothing on the buffet was to their dietary need. ||Atmosphere in the lobby is nice, too.

I loved the view of the interior courtyard from my 2nd floor room with the balcony. The trees surrounding the pond area were lit up beautifully and there were people having a meal inside the dining igloos until later in the night. We're adding this to our bucket list for a future visit. |The king bed was so comfortable, including the pillows, which felt high quality. I liked the layout of this room, with a couch seating area and nice sized table for eating or for work. I thought the tv was located in an odd place/angle until I realized that you could adjust its position to point to the bed, or the couch area. The Keurig coffee was good. |Their bath products were fantastic! I loved the quality of the shampoo, especially. The tub-shower combination is wider than most hotels, and very roomy. They provide plenty of towels and wash cloths too. Everything was very clean and the room was in great shape. |Their front desk manager and bar and restaurant staff were all great! |Overall, I really like this hotel with its upscale, yet rustic and comfortable vibe.

As you can see the rooms are very spacious. No microwave in the room it’s in the lobby. No water park sad face. The pool is not open double sad face. This is so sad. No activities, it’s cold outside, and the kids are bored. I should have done more research before booking.

Super cute place with a nice layout and excellent breakfast spread. Loved that our room had a jazzcuzi tub. $5 for the breakfast was an excellent deal. Definitely a good little get away spot.

I am so happy OCTELA chose Cherry Valley Hotel as the venue for their conference. My room was clean and very comfortable, catering was delicious, and staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The location is beautiful, with plenty of lovely indoor and outdoor spaces to relax. I can't wait to come back!
