We always enjoy Richard's dishes, some carried over from his time at their Lyle Hotel. Our Valentine's dinner, coq au Vin, perfect green beans, luscious au gratin potatoes, paired nicely with our bottle of local Pines Old Vine Zin. His catered meals have been wonderful, too...the salmon at Maryhill museum's 2024 annual fundraiser is still in my mind.

My team had a great experience with Cherry City Catering for an event we hosted in The Dalles with 95 attendees. Richard was attentive to dietary restrictions, easy and quick to communicate with, and left boxes for our attendees to take food home and avoid food waste. Wonderful local business that I would absolutely support again!

Cherry City Catering was all around great! Richard was responsive and easy to work with in the planning of our dinner, even with options to accommodate dietary restrictions. They arrived on time and set everything up for us and just made everything so easy. The dinner and dessert were absolutely delicious! My guests were full of compliments about it all. Cherry City Catering provided an outstanding buffet for a brunch the morning after a wedding. The bride chose a menu of "bagel bar", which turned out to be perfect, because the guests could eat as much or as little as they wanted. We also had fruit salad, bacon, and banana bread, as well as various drinks. I was really impressed with the preparation. The amount of food was spot-on, and we had only a few leftovers. Richard and Trece were professional and efficient, besides being incredibly good company. They overcame a fair number of obstacles to make the brunch happen: the Hood River bridge was closed, recovering from a surgery, and lots of other catering obligations. Nonetheless, they managed to appear as if we were the center of their universe. They were super flexible about the menu options (which are lengthy). I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
