We were recommended to try this place for dinner by my best friend who raved about it. Now, we're raving about it! Delicious food, family atmosphere. Due to food allergies, I asked for some custom adjustments and they didn't hesitate, no problem.

NOTE: Ignore the DoorDash and online ordering links. They're bogus!

Situated in a mini strip mall on Oracle, you're not here for the view or ambiance. You're here for a hearty, flavorful Bosnian meal cooked and delivered by Chef Alisah. And what wonderful food it is! Very reasonably priced. Strongly recommend.

BYOB license, so bring your preferred beverage along. We enjoyed a Spanish cab/tempranillo.

Great food! We had a meat platter for 2. My favorite was chicken, but kebabs, patties and steak were great too!

I'm in the area for some training, and was doing some sight seeing and off-roading. I wanted something from the homeland and stopped by here. I don't know if I'm spoiled being from the NE area, but the ćevapi here were great. Sometimes you can taste the baking soda in them, but these were perfect. Perfect 10 ćevapi. Came here on Sunday, the place was empty but they had customers coming in for take out almost immediately after they opened up at 1730. Will definitely come back here again.

Guy Fieri’s Diners Drive-Ins and Dives perfectly summed this place up, though ironically we did not get to try the sausages made famous by that episode…story to follow.

This is a simple (unassuming as another reviewer put it) restaurant tucked away in a strip of businesses on Tucson’s northwest side. We visited for an early lunch and it was fairly quiet. We were greeted by the owner and namesake, Chef Alisah. We perused the menu and chose the sausages and meatballs along with an appetizer.

The funny thing was when he returned to take our order. We had taken about ten minutes to decide. When we ordered, he looked taken aback and asked how we could order this after looking for so long. He then went on to explain we cared so much what we were to order, we should try his best dishes. He recommended a stroganoff-esque dish in lieu of the sausages. You can tell this man wants the best for his customers and is proud of what he does.

The rest of the menu looks amazing and prices are fair. Our food was great. We got an appetizer of bread with two dips. The “stroganoff” was excellent. The meatballs were also wonderful. We also tried a Slovenian soda called Cockta, which was like an herbal Coca Cola. I can’t say I’ve ever had Slovenian anything before, but this was a great drink.

As we finished up, I looked up a story about Alisah. I learned he’d survived camps during wars in the Balkans. He worked extremely hard to get to the point of opening this restaurant. Overall, this will be amongst the most memorable dining experiences ever.

Great food, high quality meats and home-style cooking. Our waiter was very gracious when we asked for more of their excellent in-house made bread. Definitely recommend.
