This place was a disappointment overall for me. The grounds are beautiful and the architecture is nice. My issue is with the value to service proposition of this place. I’ve been very blessed to have been to a couple really nice spa / hotel / restaurant places in my life. I felt that we paid 4 star prices here for 2 or 3 star value. Service was not bad, but not outstanding. Food the same. Our room didn’t have hot water for 2 nights. Called them immediately to fix it and they never did.

Truly not a bad experience overall. I just feel like you can spend the same money elsewhere and get a better experience.

I must clarify this is for the hotel and restaurant(s). I found the Spa at Chateau Elan to be fantastic and the winery fine as well.

Very relaxing, lovely atmosphere! We took a nap in a hammock and had a wonderful body massage. They greeted you with a beverage. We had brunch. The menu was limited, but breakfast food was good. Some liked the crab cakes, some did not. The pool was cold. There is an elevator for those who need it. Most saff very accommodating. My next visit I will try the winery. Definitely will be going back

My friend and I went to the spa and had a blast. The food at the restaurant was 3/5, but I have high standards on food. The service 10/10. The massage was awesome and the facial was the best I have ever had. In between services we enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor hammock area which was all so lovely. I would definitely go back.

This is a nice, but not luxury hotel. It is very much like a downtown Hilton or Marriott. The refrigerator wasn't working when we got there, but they replaced it while we were at dinner. The minibar is in the fridge with bottles of liquor on the credenza. Overall our stay was fine, but we won't go back. There really is nothing to recommend it.

Beware making reservations! Made a reservation for a quick stay and wanted to have a nice dinner and visit the spa. The Spa now requires you to pay in full (Including Gratuity) just to make an appointment. Unfortunately my husband made the reservation which is not able to be cancelled. Part of the problem is you have to call different departments to make all reservations and only learned about their policy after the hotel reservation was made. Called within 24 hours and they would do nothing to help. No longer wish to visit this resort and I'm stuck with it!

Not impressed with my recent stay at Chateau Elan. All staff at front desk were not helpful and unknowledgeable. Due to their incompetency I was double charged for an item. I have called and have been transferred to their accounting department many times and it says mailbox full. Left messages for several other people and have yet to get a return phone call to try and correct the issue. Service at Versailles restaurant was slow and staff made you feel like you were bothering them. Rooms are showing their age and not very clean. Drip marks/stains from a liquid in bathroom and bedroom furniture. Strong smell of natural gas near pool/hot tub area. Not pleasant to smell such strong odor while trying to relax. Only positives to the trip was playing a round of golf and enjoying the winery but would not come back after this trip.

OMG! This place is now a rip off. Everything is so expensive.
They really try to cater to just the rich folks, 1%ters.
I had two stake dinners just last week (Thurs & Friday night), the ribeye and then the filet. Nothing to write home and so overpriced.

To summarize, come for scenery but don't come here for their food, unless you want to get screwed on the price. The service was pretty good.

By the way, they also jacked up the price for tasting their wine.

After that visit, I rebelled and got my self a bunch of steaks and cooked it myself! Net net, my wife and I have agreed to avoid coming back to this place.

This place is beyond beautiful and the staff goes way above and beyond the whole time! We felt so taken care of!! All the restaurants had amazing food, and great staff our fav. Was Dianne at Saracen’s she took such great care of us and went above and beyond to make our time special!! We will def. Be going back!! Oh and their wine is delicious!!!
