This is a great place for any food. They carry ice cream, burgers wings and fries this is a nice family owned business and a place I would order food from anytime:

I am born and raised in Toledo. Always looking for good places to eat. Never heard of this place and happened across it...I wanted something fried... So I ordered onion rings...These are the best onion rings I've had in years. They're seasoned well. They're crunchy. They're cut and made fresh. I'll definitely be coming back to try other items. The young boy with the glasses was welcoming and efficient.

Me, and my aunty came in to get ice cream 03/22/2025 around 3pm. I got the cookies and cream on a sugar cone. It was delicious a 10/10 and we got a chance to meet the owner. She said the ice cream is made from scratch. The staff was so nice and kind. We will be back for more.

I'm going out of my way to leave this review I ordered through door dash and I live 5 minutes away so it wasn't a timing issue, now the food was outright disgusting I ordered a double cheeseburger that was so dry and burnt my dog wouldn't eat and he eats anything the bun was rock hard, my wife ordered the cheese steak sandwich with fries she took two bites and spit the second one out and tossed it in the trash saying the meat tasted like salt and dry and very flaky the fries how this happened is beyond me they were burnt but soggy and dripping with oil she wouldn't even try them. I've completely lost faith in restaurants in Toledo this place needs to be ashamed to serve food I'd be willing to bet the health department would shut them down. A well spent 40$ I'll be making a yelp account and smashing this place on there like I said I'm going out of my way over the disrespect of my food.

Charlie’s is a business that thrives on the idea that simple is better, and every aspect of dinner there with my family, while not overwhelming or surprising, was wonderful and tasty.

The burgers were not elaborate and smaller than many places, but tasted great, and the bacon was crisp and fresh. The fries were crunchy but not overdone, and the ice cream was very delicious.

While prices were a little higher than I suspected and the fries were a bit too large, most would be happy to get a lot of fries.

All in all I think it was perfect for my mother and son, as they love the simple stuff. Though not complex, what you order is what you get and it’s worth the visit to try.

Food was good, place was cute, but needs better ventilation (was smoky!!).

We got a kids grilled cheese, nuggets, and hot dog, as well as adult burger and chicken sandwich. All the food was great. The onion rings and fries sides were super good (curly fries were only ok). The ice cream was good too! (Got a chocolate shake, strawberry shake, and Superman cone)

If we’re coming through town again, we’ll definitely be back!

Two customers in front of us, both only ordering ice cream. Took us 45 minutes to get two burgers. Now I know why everyone who came after us was ordering hotdogs, as we saw about 4 of those come out before our burgers. Both burgers were basically cooked to a brick-like puck. I’m assuming no one showed the kids how to cook a burger. It really wasn’t busy for a Friday night around 6:30.

The ice cream is ok. Handel’s is much better.

Friendly staff, great food, lots of ice cream to choose from! Love the fundraisers and activities they do to support Sylvania and the Toledo area.
