Hubby and I went for a weekend getaway. They have really cute cabins, definitely rustic with some amazing views! If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this place you don't want to miss, super quiet and you can see some really cool animals. We saw a ton of deer, a road runner, and all kinds of other birds, if you want the Ritz go somewhere else. Staff was super helpful also, it can get confusing on the cabin numbers, the map they sent was really helpful. I would highly recommend.

Cabin was super cute until… the sink wouldn’t drain, the toilet seat was missing a screw, but then at 10:30 we realized we were in the middle of bedbug Armageddon. We were fully surrounded, bedbugs everywhere. No response from property management, even after VRBO also tried to contact them. Had to drive home 4 hours away after day drinking because I didn’t want to infest another hotel. Stayed up doing laundry and the laundromat and spraying down all out belongings that we couldn’t just throw out. Property responded the next day saying it was from previous renters… but this is an established colony…. No way… if you see this many then it’s BEEN a problem.

The cabins are located close to Turner Falls, which is nice. But I was in Cabin 1, located directly on HWY 77 and it was incredibly loud all night.
I did not receive check in instructions and had to call to get them.

It is very bare bones. The cable/streaming did not work. All the lights are weak and dull. There is no cutlery/dishes, but there is a full kitchen otherwise. I was unable to unlock the back door.

It was tidy but not clean. Dead bugs in the corners, soap splattered in the shower. The bed was freshly made, but the mattress was terribly uncomfortable.
The expectation is a bit like air bnb's to tidy and take garbage out.

I stayed here because I travel and worked in Davis the next day. I have one more night booked for later in the month which is non refundable, but I won't be staying here again after that. I'm very happy my company paid, not me.

If there was negative starts, this place would get them. If you try to call, good luck getting any one. After I called 3 times finally someone answered after 3 days of voicemails, they gladly took my credit card number but never gave me the access code. Once I got to the cabin at check in time, still no code. I try to call, straight to voicemail. I’m sitting in my car about to find the nearest hotel and the cleaning lady comes up. She asked me to give her a few minutes to clean and she gives me the key. I have not received any information, how to check out, what is to be expected from me. This is the worst. I’m still tempted to find a hotel in town just to get away from here. My cabin is just fine, a little musty and over flowery to make it smell not shut up but I’m not happy about the whole situation. *edit. There is no office/check in on the property.

Part two: after i posted about my check in hassle on Google, it wasn’t even 5 minutes later i get my “check in” text. Please note the time i received versus time to check in.

Day started out great until bedtime. There were mouse droppings STUCK to the towels and when we pulled the pillows on the bed back MORE MOUSE DROPPINGS! The sheets were stained with urine from the rodents.By FAR the NASTIEST place we have EVER stayed...we didn't stay we left! We drove to a nearby town at 11pm and got a hotel room bc it was so nasty. When asked for a refund they denied us. 100% do NOT recommend.

The cabin we stayed in was so nasty. Spiderwebs everywhere. There was something splattered on the wall the sofa was disgusting was afraid to sit on it. The refrigerator didn’t work. The cabin had a rodent infestation. There were mouse droppings all over both beds😡. Do not recommend staying there. We packed up our stuff and got a hotel room instead of staying in the cabin

We stayed in the newer cabins on top of the hill and had sweeping panaromic views from the back porch. All the furnishings were new and the satellite tv worked great! Plenty of room in the main bedroom and even more room up in the loft. A/C worked great and the ceiling fan was remote controlled. Full-size fridge was really useful for our extended stay. No patio furniture, but we used camp chairs and it worked out great! ||||There were hummingbirds in the morning and fireflies at dusk. Cool breezes in the evening on the back porch were wonderful. ||||Everything was clean and well-maintained.

I had such and enjoyable time that I can't wait to go back! These cabins are older, but well maintained and clean. I loved the rustic look and feel. Lots of fresh air and peaceful quiet and WOW what a view of the stars! The air conditioning worked great and the bed was comfortable, too. I've told all of my friends about it and we're hoping to make it a group trip next time.
