This past weekend we had the opportunity to stay at Cedar Glade Resort in Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. This place is truly a hidden gem in the Ozarks, historic, beautiful and well maintained. It is located on a gorgeous property overlooking their golf course. I thought it would be a perfect place to have a wedding or family gathering.|The staff are fantastic and welcoming, we felt like part of the family by the end of our stay. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable. I slept like a log, so peacefully. As an added bonus, they were hosting a festival that we read about on social media and there was live music, games and several vendors with a great variety of food and crafts.|It was so much fun, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend Cedar Glade Resort for your next getaway, convention, family gathering or any special ocassion!

Don’t stay here.

First of all it’s not clean, found a woman’s press on nail in the shower. Both of the rooms that we rented for two nights did not have cable and it was because of the maintenance person using the wrong cable to the router, then we were locked out of our rooms twice in one night and had to have them re-keyed by someone off site. Then they,… after asking for at least a partial refund say it was user error. Yet the counter person admitted in the morning that they have made programming mistakes with am pm on the keys. We were locked out twice after 11.

They don’t have integrity and the maintenance person was high on something hanging out on his balcony and very strange.

Beware! You’ll be ripped off.

My family and I came from out of town and needed somewhere to stay for the night so we got a room here. Highly DO NOT recommend to anyone. It was absolutely disgusting and ridiculously expensive, this is not a resort its more of a run down motel. The first time we got a room spiders were crawling all over the bed so we were relocated to another room. The new room also had several spiders in the closet, on the floor, and a huge wolf spider coming out of the tub. There were several bugs on the ceiling, in the corners of the room, and a grass hopper in the bathroom. A cicada flew in on the ceiling. My toddler was with us and has bite marks all over his abdomen, down his back, his legs, and on his neck. This is a huge safety concern and was reported to the staff which did provide us a refund. I had to spend so much money at a laundry mat to clean out our suit case and wash all of our clothes before we went home because we have no idea what was biting our son. I also have bug bites on my abdomen. Do NOT ever stay here it was absolutely horrible, what a nightmare!!!!! Wish I could give this place a negative 5 stars. Also the room was not cleaned, the sheets were stained, the comforter also had many stains, the bathroom lotion bottles had been used, and the soap bar was open, there was also a dead centipede in the tub, just disgraceful.

I stayed there with a companion and we were both treated very rudely by the heavy set Hispanic housekeeping lady. The room wasn’t clean and she has a very vulgar mouth. Otherwise, a decent place to stay but will not be back because of her.

We drove 8 hours to get here looking for retirement property. We book our room before we left home. We arrived at 830pm and checked in. The place is fairly clean but make no mistake about it, this is NOT a resort in any sense of the word. It was built in 1965 and it looks like it. Again it was fairly clean but if you are looking for a resort this ain't it.

I know there are a lot of bad reviews on here. The room I had was fully remodeled and was very nice. I don't think most of the other rooms are quite as nice though.

This town needs something like this so hopefully people support it.

You can definitely tell this was quite a place at one time.
