When we arrived we were greeted by a very nice older gentleman behind the counter and retrieved our key. The lobby was very pretty and clean. Our room was on the second floor which is no big deal to us, once inside the room was bigger than expected which was definitely a plus! It was very quiet which was surprising considering the lady below us had a dog. Other than the microwave and the air conditioner being loud due to probably their age or models the only disappointing part was we could not put the captions on the TV while watching our shows. In the morning I went down to the lobby to check on breakfast and was surprised on how many options there were! They had yogurts, two different types of cereal, make your own mini waffles, oatmeal's, and lots of different drinks to choose from! The coffee was great but the cups in the rooms are bigger than the ones in the lobby. At checkout time I passed a younger gentleman what I'm assuming may have been the son of the older gentleman from the night before and dropped off our key. Smooth stay all the way around! Thank you!

Unfortunately our room 220 had a bedbug on the pillow. We asked to switch rooms and were courteous about it but the man at the desk was very dismissive. They insisted that we take everything out of the room (including our cat) into the car before we switched rooms. We did not find any bedbugs in the second room, 212, but in the morning we found a bedbug in our car.
We asked for a full refund to help us pay for an extermination and they only gave us a 50% discount.
The room wasn’t bad other than that, but the unfortunately the service was very poor towards our concerns.
Best of luck with your travels.

Room was ice cold when we arrived so we opted to turn on the heat and then leave for awhile while it heated up. Got back turned on tv.
Remote skipped every other channel but also if you typed in the number it entered the number twice. We were told that breakfast was from 6 to 9 which was great because my husband had to leave to go to work an hour away. At 6:05 nothing was out and the breakfast room was still dark. It didn't look like anyone was working on it and there wasnt even coffee but my hubby could not wait there to find out If and when it did open. At 8:30 I called the front desk with my own phone after finding out the room phone would not work and they answered with "Hello" so I asked if I had reached the hotel and the lady acted like it was a stupid question. I politely asked for a late check out mostly due to the horrible freezing temperatures and was told no and then hung up on. I called back and (this time they announced the hotel) asked why they hung up on me and she just said "I told you you cannot have a late check out". At this point I was upset now and told her that I would be giving a poor review due to her rudeness and the experience I had had. I don't normally waste my time giving these reviews but her rudeness and the quality of my stay called for this action.

Talked to the young lady named Nikki to book my room on the phone. She said the price would be $130 per night, i told her I could get it for $117 if I booked it online. I told her I would just stay somewhere else. She said she would drop the price to $120 per night.. i told her that would be fine and asked her for a confirmation to be emailed or by text, she replied I didn't need one. She would be working that night. Should have been all kinds of red flags go up but i am a trusting guy and why would she lie to me...right?, guess what...When I arrived she charged me $130 per night. I reminded her of the conversation we had and she said she could not do anything about the price and I
couldn't cancel, my card would be charged anyway. .. I ask her for the owner's name and she said they would not be here this weekend, so I could not talk to them. How convenient, right? The rooms are okay. I can't say the same for the toilet because it keeps running when you flush it and I have to stick my hand in the tank occasionally to push the flapper down. You should also be aware this is not a hotel, but it is a motel. Where you park in front of your room door if someone hasn't beaten you too it. Not happy, won't stay here in the future.

I don't understand the hate for the place so I'm leaving my experience.
I'm on a USA roadtrip from Vancouver, Canada and was aiming for Joplin, Missouri before the fog rolled in and cut visibility at the knees. We decided to stay near the Hard Rock Casino to make the best of the situation so picked the Catoosa Inn due to the location and affordability.
Walked into the lobby and was greeted by a very friendly guy. Check in was simple, got our keys, went to the room and got ready to take the shuttle to the casino.
Our room was clean. Smelled clean when we walked in, everything was refilled, etc. Bright parking lot as well. We don't usually do hotel breakfasts so I can't leave an honest review about that but everything else was good.

I have stayed here 3 times, rooms are always immaculate. The shower pressure is second to none. Location is okay, close to the Hard Rock Casino. There’s an extra fee in your booking, be aware. Still cheapest hotel around.
The lady is very short with you and not a conversationalist. If you want a great shower, clean room and cheap rate, this is your place. If you want breakfast and someone to carry on a conversation, walk next door or across the street to a great cafe. Would recommend this place.

I talked to the hotel owner when I checked in yesterday and he said he would try to find the owner of this vehicle parked in the handicap stripes. I am unable to get in or out of my van because I need the stripes. It was still here today….. and the cops didn’t even want to come and give them a ticket!!!! I called. The room was actually good, but will not be staying here ever again!!! If I could leave the pic I took I would. 🙁

We had an ant infestation. The front desk said they couldn’t do anything about it or discount our room for the night. The free breakfast also isn’t really a breakfast. Just waffles and old cereal. Sheets were clean. Carpets need vacuumed.
