Absolutely love the service. Our waitress Taylor (who was also a wonderful bartender and DJ) is a sweetheart. The music selection was perfect, and one of my favorite songs actually started to play just after we sat down. Her and Emma are super awesome, hope to connect again!

We ordered the bread bowl, cripsy oysters, and fish & chips. It was tasty and extremely filling. They also have very reasonable prices and a cozy atmosphere. Drinks were definitely on par.

Honestly though, I'd come back just for the service.

The crab season was happening (April) and they catch their own crabs. The food was exceptional. The price was way way reasonable. I can’t recommend a visit enough!

We were passing thru Brookings for 2 nights. We stayed at Harris Beach State Park and came here the 1st night. What an amazing experience. We got the whole crab dinner, fish and chips and crab cakes. We had 3 people and it was quiet the entire dinner bc we were stuffing our faces w some amazing food. Everything was so fresh being that Catalyst is right by the water. Servers were friendly and awesome. One gal had on a brown sweatshirt and showed it off well that I bought the same hoodie. $25 baby!!! We finished off the dinner w red velvet cheesecake. So u think that’s the review right!?! NO WAY JORGE! This place was so good we came back the 2nd night 😉 the only thing we swapped out was the crab cakes for the crab tacos. My mouth is salivating thinking about the damage we r gonna do right now 😉 love the Oregon sales tax or lack thereof so I made sure to tip our servers for the great job they did. Btw, the pix I am adding to this review r from the 2nd night. We were famished and forgot to take pix 😉 whole crab dinner is a ridiculous deal. Came w clam chowder, garlic mash, sautéed veggies. Fish and chips were so fresh too and gr8888888 price at $16-$18.

Restuarant is owned by local fishermen . Almost everything is fresh, top quality, and locally caught. I ordered the dungeness crab - it was excellent ! I've heard their fish tacos are great as well.The place is small, so it gets filled up fast - mostly by local regulars . The staff were very knowledgeable and super friendly.

The servers were friendly. They got us seated quite quickly. I got the shrimp sandwich and it has very tiny shrimp with thick coating. I didn’t really like it and I didn’t finish it. Oyster is very fresh though! Chowder is okay (but not recommended) The environment was great with a lot of cool painting. You can’t really get a good view of the shore at the restaurant though, so I think the pics are a bit misleading.

My partner and I were told by locals this place has the BEST seafood.... 💯 true!! We enjoyed fresh oysters, clam chowder, calamari and crab pizza. Each dish was as good, if not better than the last. Our server was lovely and helpful. Excellent food. Excellent service.

This place is awesome. From its location on the water to the authentic feel of an actual seafood joint. The staff was the friendliest, the atmosphere was outstanding, and the food was second to none. I have enjoyed seafood at industry staples from New Orleans to the East Coast, and Catalyst has a place among them. 5 stars!!! ***** out of *****

We were seated quickly. All the staff was working efficiently and the place was buzzing with patrons. Though it was busy, we were greeted quickly by our server and able to order our drinks. I then ordered an Oyster Shooter, and we gave our waitress our dinner order. The Oyster shooter was delivered after a short wait, it was a large oyster, which typically I prefer small or mediums, however, this large surprised me with how fresh it tasted! The cocktail sauce it was in was also the perfect amount of spice! My son's dinner salad arrived shortly after and was a beautiful green mix, with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. All was crisp and fresh. Dinner was served. My daughter ordered Fish and Chips, it was AMAZING! My son ordered a whole crab, it was HUGE! and I ordered the fish tacos, they were DELICIOUS!
