Two things: first of all cleaning the room only takes place on the third day, but the amenity charge occurs daily. This seems rather steep as new amenities are not placed in the room and one has to go to the desk to get them if one needs coffee or other items. Secondly, the hotel would be well served if it replaced the door lock system. I have stayed here three times and each time there were major problems with the key card system, and the lock on the door. The staff was always very gracious, but this is a big hassle.

From the moment I arrived I was treated kindly. The staff were very helpful and went above and beyond to help with any questions and amenities.The location has everything you want and need nearby, Food/ Grocery/ Gas.
Reasonably priced and the rooms were spotless, nicely decorated and had everything I needed. I look forward to staying at here for all my next trips! Would recommend 10/10

Good for the basics. My only complaints were 1. I had to ask twice about getting the coffee machine cleaned out or replaces because the water reservoir had residue and was flaking into my cup when I used it, 2. The dispensers for the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower weren’t refilled before I checked in so when I eventually took a shower, there was little shampoo, conditioner, and no body wash, and 3. I found two hairs in the tub before I had used it. The people at the front desk were very nice, could very well have been a miscommunication, and the cleaning people seemed to do a hood job when cleaning my room on the third day. Other than that, everything was good. Just minor things/inconveniences.

If you want substandard accomodations with five star prices, this place has it. there is nothing good to say about it. It is somewhat rundown and shabby. In our room, neither the toilet barely worked and the shower not at all. Management did not respond to our concerns. We even filled out a form during and again at the end of our stay-no response, no accomodation. An email I sent after was also ignored. All i all, not a place we would recommend or consider again.

The real standout to me about this hotel was the customer service and the amenities. Being able to borrow bikes for free was a game changer for my visit, and the person behind the desk even offered me an ice cold water when I got back! Would definitely stay there again!

Great place to stay in Ojai. It’s just past the downtown if driving east so just a bit far to walk. Room was ready on time and clean. Room was cozy for our stay during a wedding. Shower is a bit loud but had good hot water and water pressure. No safe in room. Had microwave and fridge which was nice.

After our second night at Casa Ojai, we had requested a new set of sheets and towels. Before we left that morning we were told by the morning staff that this would happen. However, when we returned to our room around 10:00 that night, nothing had been done. Apparently there was miscommunication between the morning staff and night staff. Once we arrived at our room we let Jackie, who was there for the night, know about this. Without complaining, she came up to our room almost immediately and replaced sheets on both beds and provided us clean linens in the bathroom. She even offered to clean our sink, which I declined. Jackie went out of her way to make up for this mishap that took place earlier that day.

Overall not worth the price. This is a "motel" design. Patio in front, not private. Mixed feelings overall. Coffee in room good. Snack packs good. Water good. Shower terrible: hot, but barely any water coming out. Beds good (pillows big, but not too hard. Mattress good.) Spa good. Didn't try pool or bikes. Room not cleaned well. Found old sock under night stand and some tooth pick thing by bed. TV non-functional. Room fan/air good. Way overpriced for the overall experience.
