The motel is at a very busy road. The train pases by and it’s noisy. You must go to the reception in another place but they don’t tell you in Advance. The door doesnt open so we go back again to the place were the owner is. He keeps the key and says he is comming to open. We have to wait 15 minutes. We chose it because they admit dogs but you pay as if they were humans. Room is small but clean.

I have never had an experience like this! I booked on Booking.com. Wish I had seen these reviews. It is the least comfortable or reasonable experience I have ever had. Zero, and I mean zero, customer service. No one will answer the phone except for 6 hours a day. No blankets, no hair-dryer, no electrical plugs in the bathroom, no coffee maker. Zero assistance from staff (there is no staff) to assist with anything. $20 a night pet fee on top of room cost. $50 room deposit fee which is NOT returned the day of checkout. Again, zero staff—Zero customer support.

I was very disappointed and upset with my interaction at this location. My original reservation was at Savannah Inn & Suites. Upon arrival, I was issued a room. When entering the room, I was met with fog on the windows and the sounds of rushing water from the tub that couldn't be turned off. I went back to registration and the receptionist gave me a room at the "house" at Carole Motel. I ended up going back and cancelling the booking at the cost of $67 (even though I barely entered the rooms). The receptionist was very rude and disrespectful when I told her we weren't pleased and requested a cancellation. She told me that if I didn't keep the reservation, she would call the cops on me for "keeping her key". I told her I didn't want to keep the key, but I wasn't giving it back until I got the reservation cancelled. She said they longer I stayed, the longer they would charge. There were remnants of roaches in the cabinets. My family and I didn't feel safe there at all and her threatening me just because I expressed our feelings, made it even worse. I will never book with that location again. We had to find somewhere else to stay which involved paying a higher cost, but worth it for my family's sake. If I could give this NO STARS, I would. 100%.

For the price, this is a great stay, 🤠 the trains didn't bother us, the room was clean, the heat was good, gas station was close, no ice machine, no biggy, doors locked, bed was comfy, TV didn't work, but we always in our phones anyway, shower was small, but I'm a bigger guy, water was nice and hot,🔥 so no biggy, fridge wasn't cool, but we use coolers when we travel, so no problem, will definitely stay again, not sure if I really like getting my key card at one place and driving to another, oh yeah btw, hold the card close to the lock reader for about 5 seconds, works every time....

Due to hurricane milton I had to evacuate from Florida to Georgia and had to stay here…
Pros: close to down town Savannah, close to highway gas stations and food options, ac worked great, no bugs, pet friendly, and overall wasn’t bad for a motel
Cons: motel is right next to cargo trains so you hear noise from the trains 24/7, there was no staff present during my stay no one answered the phone and the receptionist desk (lobby) was empty my entire stay which made it hard to get help and to check in/out, what was the worst was normally this motel is $50-60 a night which is what a motel is worth but during the hurricane they upped the price to $100-120 a night which is insane to do for people evacuating their homes.

I have been an air bnb customer for well over a decade. I have never visited an establishment where the host was entirely rude, belligerent and threatening. The room keys given almost never work. Instead of replacing these locks with ones that actually work, the host would rather scream obscenities at his customers. He locked us out of our room with our dog inside the room because we kept asking someone to unlock our door. While the staff were very polite that alone would never persuade me to stay one more night at that place. Our experience almost got to the point of allowing law enforcement to deal with the situation. I would have left this review on air bnb platform but the host graciously cancelled our reservation so we were unable to leave a review. So I’ve decided to leave a review on every social platform I can find.

Yeah I forgot to read all the reviews first.
One thing that I don't like that train sound was sooo loud. At night, they came like 3-5 times, so I couldn't sleep well.

Also, the check in time wasn't smooth. I have to take the key from the branch. I was lucky that I came there before 7pm when check in.,
