We spent one night at Canyons Lodge in September as part of a cross country road trip. The property itself was nice outside. The room we were in was on the small side and the bed itself was a little too soft for us. The room itself was clean. We signed up for the breakfast buffet which was across the street from where we stayed. The breakfast food was good.

This place served its purpose with providing us a place to sleep for the night, but it wouldn’t necessarily be a place I would return to if I’m ever back in the area.

We were surprised in the best way with our stay. Imagine if you mix a motel and a boutique hotel. That was the vibe. We were here for one night on a road trip through Utah and Arizona.

We checked in somewhat late but the manager was waiting for us. He gave us information on the area and was friendly and warm. He informed us that we could leave our key at the hotel next door (same owners) if we checked out early in the morning.

A quaint room, but it was well furnished with everything you could need. They left thoughtful touches including a welcome card. There was a very small shower. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

This establishment is 5 star. The first thing I noticed is the impeccable landscaping and appearance. The owner certainly has a servant's heart. The rooms are very pleasant and comfortable. The employees are pleasant and service oriented. The buffet breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent.

Everything exceeded my expectations and i I highly recommend this facility.

I am used to getting subpar service but when we stopped in at the canyons boutique and canyons lodged it was a breath of fresh air to meet Travis.

We had a long road trip around the state of Utah and were in need of a shower. It was 11am and Travis tried his best to find us a clean room. He was super nice and walked us around the property to show us rooms.

He gave us 4 hour itinerary for Bryce Canyon and we had a blast! While relaxing the pool after a long day, he was very nice and personable with us.

The room was beautiful. well appointed, and cozy. The bedding is some of the most comfortable bedding I have experienced at a hotel.

There was personalized card with the weather forecast also. It’s the little details…

We will def stop here again when we are exploring Zion in the future.

We stayed at the Canyons Lodge for 3 nights early in September. The location was ideal for our visit to Zion NP and to the South Coyote Buttes / Vermilion Cliffs. Restaurants were located within walking distance, so that was great as well. We got to know the town of Kanab in our nightly walks. And the room itself was ok. The restaurant is located a short walk across the street.
A couple of minor issues:
-The A/C could be a bit noisy at times
-The smoking area was outside of our room next to ice house, so we had to walk past it often and you smell the smoke occasionally when we went out.
-We prepaid for 3 mornings of breakfast for 2 people, but we could only use 1 because of tours/hikes we wanted to take early in the day. They would not refund us the $40 for that, which was a bit annoying. So don't prepay if you're not sure. There are other places for breakfast.

Bottom line - we would probably stay there again.

It’s clear in the details that the lodge and hotel are well cared for and operated. From the sitting areas near fire pits, to the high quality breakfast and welcome card, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much, I’ll be building this little stop into our roadtrips from now on.

The Canyons Lodge is such a lovely little hotel! The property is well maintained, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shampoo and conditioner smelled SO good. Travis, the owner, was so friendly and helpful! If you find yourself in Kanab, I highly recommend staying here.

Checked into this hotel on the 3.8.24. The room of the hotel was very nice a little small to but it was ok. The bathroom was also a little small but still convenient. Air conditiong was loud. Under the bed were some weird objects maybe the should clean that. The service of the place is amazing and Terry is an amazing and fun person. The location cannot be better as it is located near a good restaraunt 5 minute walking to some shops.
