I had the room in the front on the main street. I guess all rooms are different. Mine needed a good cleaning, especially the shower curtain. The bathroom sink was totally plugged. This room did not have an air conditioner. Some do. There is central air and a vent in the room, when the owner turns it on. The thermostat did nothing. He does not turn the air on until housekeeping is done. Usually around 2:30pm before check in. My room got very hot.
The owner got rude with me when I wanted to check out early cuz it was to hot. I won't stay here again. I will say the location is great, you can walk everywhere.

Toilet didn't flush, only 1 towel & it was a hand towel, & stains on pillow case. Arrived after 8:30 pm & was too tired to go elsewhere. Also the office person was located off site. Called in am & all the person said was "I'll look into it".

If I could give zero stars I would. I walked in to ask about prices and male behind counter told me to look it up online. Then what do they have you for?!
Terrible service. Will never stay here and will tell everyone I know that I do not recommend it.

Location great in historic downtown Williams on Rt 66. Nice wrap around porch with a small table and chairs for every room. Super nice to sit on porch. Parking super convenient and free. Check-in was fast and pleasant. Room very clean. Large Tv, small refrigerator and microwave with a small table in room. Walls are thin and at times can hear sounds in other rooms but because of the other pros not really a problem. I think my main issue was the box spring the mattress was on was not a "typical" box spring and super loud and disturbing. The thin walls was not really anything that could be helped by owner but the box spring is definitely something that needs to be dealt with. Our fellow travelers in other rooms stated same problem with the bed. I do have to say that the mattress was very comfortable and above average.
We would definitely stay here again and are thankful we found this place!!

We really wanted to like the place! The owner was friendly and kind. Location walkable to everything. But, it just wasn't clean. The sheets, tho we were told we just changed, had fresh bodily stains on them. I asked for new ones and. Hanged them myself. The microwave was gross, stuck foot from top to bottom. The bottoms of my husband's feet just from walking on the floor were black. There was no AC that we could find, tho in May we just opened the windows. We were booked for 2 nights but canceled the second. I think the owner needs some help (and some new bedding and pillows). This place just needs more attention to cleanliness and it would be a nice place to stay.

went up to williams for a family reunion, stayed at Canyon Country. Location is perfect... middle of historic Williams. Facility is older so don't expect all the latest high tech amenities but the rooms are nice, clean and appropriately appointed. You're with walking distance of several dining locations... two in particular, frontier on the end of town and Italian Bistro/brewery...

Positive: It was small and easy to find. Negative: It was dirty and so hot with no way to lower the temp but open the windows. (It was December).

Stopped here in Williams, Az at this Country Inn for one night before going to Bearizona the next morning ,then onto Payson. What a quaint little Inn. I was impressed with the place! Nice room and fellow working there was very nice! Had some nice conversations with him while sitting outside. It advertises a free breakfast, but that has since stopped. Owner said, we'll just lower the price which he did for me. I would stay here again and right by all the restaurants on the main drag. Very quite too!
