We are just finishing our last night here and are so sad it’s over. We made last minute reservations and the staff were so helpful. Honestly the nicest campground owners/staff we have ever dealt with. Very clean facilities and the grounds are landscaped beautifully. Definitely exceeded our expectations considering we booked the day before arriving.
Some of the spots are a bit steep, but that’s to be expected considering the location and we had no issue parking our 32’ travel trailer and we are definitely not experts at parking it ha ha.
So many fun activities for the grandkids and adults too. We are already planning to return next year and bring more of our camping family members with us!

My family camped here for one night but we wished could stay longer! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The ammenities are amazing! Large game -room with a pool table, putt putt, a huge swimming pool, CLEAN bathrooms & showers, and a field full of beautiful horses. I believe you can ride horses certain days of the week & rent kayaks too. What a great way to end our 2.5 week cross country road trip!! Too bad it’s homeward bound now. I definitely recommend!

Stayed 11 nights. Nice location easy to get to the local communities that we wanted to visit. Did the horse ride, had fun, and the horses were very well mannered. Halloween festivities were fun.

We had a very nice 3 night stay. Pool was very clean and perfect for the kids. Even had a small fenced off area for little kids. Staff was very pleasant and the sunsets over the lake were absolutely beautiful! We did the mini golf and while challenging with the hills it was a lot of fun. We didn't get to do any horseback riding since that's only available on weekends but we could watch the horses right from our site. We stayed in a premium site and it was right by the office and playground. Sites were big too! Plenty of room for our family of 5! Laundry room is small but washers and dryers worked great and quick! We were less than 20 minutes from the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Canoe rentals!

Nice campground, with friendly staff. Awesome game room and campground store.. Pool available. Bathrooms and showers were excellently maintained and very clean. Front sites were a little small, and the roads aren't paved, those are my only small critiques. Would recommend, and would also visit again myself.

Nice campground off the beaten path. Horseback riding, nice pool, and some nice sites. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. Older renovations that are clean. Unfortunately we stayed by the horse barn and while not overpowering, we still had some odor at times. We would stay again.

The Good:
The premium patio site was a nice concrete pad with a table and umbrella. Nice size grill. The office seemed to have a nice assortment of items if you forgot something at home. Putt putt rental in office. Putt Putt course looked as if it needed to be cleaned. It's the beginning of the season and you would think that the place would have been cleaned and ready for camping season.

Wi-fi worked very well.

The Bad: The pole for utilities was bent down so far that it's hard to hook up your surge protector and power cords.
The premium sites are next to a treatment plant that had bad smells coming from it while you sat on your patio. You can only sit out there for as long as you can tolerate the smell.
Property looks run down and not kept.

Main bathrooms are newer tiled and updated but needs better fans because when you enter to use the toilets after people have showered the floors are extremely wet with moisture. Very slippery to try to walk through.
We didn't know until our last day that right above our sites is a large landfill. We had a constant stench. Winds coming from the West kept you from being outside.
Some of the seasonal camper areas are dumpy and had large dogs loose off of leashes so that limits where you can walk with your own dog.
Grill had no propane. We put all of our food on the grill and turned it on. They had just enough in the line I guess to come on and quit.
I did go to the office the next day when they opened up again and they did come to replace it. When pay to have these amenities and can't, you should get reimbursed a portion. You pay for that site and all the amenities it has to offer for all of the days, not just a few.
3 campers left near us and people did come look at the areas after, but, no one checked propane or the grills.
The grilling utensils they leave you are rusty and can't be used.

Too many potholes.

This was our first time here and sadly we will never return. Too many other kept up KOAs in Ohio to return to this one.

Just an okay KOA. We stayed on site 5. Right beside the road to go in and out of the campground. We kept white noise going at night so we couldn’t hear traffic. We were close to where the horses are stabled and had some flies. Lots of seasonal people. They had a lot of sites open but keep putting campers beside us.
