Comfortable and clean. Amazing staff that was very helpful and welcoming. Needs upgrading but they are starting renovations now. We will definitely stay again! Very convenient and affordable. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We stayed last weekend to move our son from his dorm at Auburn to an apt. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very attentive and welcoming. The elevators were not working so it would have been nice to have received a discount (we were on 3rd floor) but that was not offered. Suggestion - add beer and bottled water to the lobby cantina and an easier way to pay for the cantina food (instead of waiting in line behind people checking in). Will definitely stay here again when the elevators are working!

The young man at check-in was a delight. He quickly informed us that the elevator was out and insured us a room on the ground floor to accommodate our child. And then the troubles began. There was a leak under the sink in the kitchenette. Hot water took forever to come to the shower and never came to either sink. The beds are VERY hard if you like that sort of thing. We could live with all of this without writing a review but the thing driving me to write a review is that the hair dryer in our room was missing. We discovered that after I showered, so I sent my husband down the hall to ask for one at the desk. The young man had no idea where to find one and said that we would have to wait for housekeeping to arrive- 2 hours later. We ended up checking out and had to change our entire morning’s plans to accommodate my wet hair. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the states of varying qualities and I’ve never encountered one that couldn’t provide a hair dryer. He wouldn’t even leave the desk to look and just shrugged at our conundrum. We will be trying other hotels during our next trip to Auburn.

I absolutely loved the staff. They were super welcoming upon my arrival. They were quick with check-in and they made sure to accommodate everything I needed. Asked me plenty of questions that could help. Everyone there was friendly and made sure to make my stay perfect.

Elevator being down, this property was great. I have stayed here 3 times in the last year and each stay has been good. The rooms are nice and the kitchen amenities and a full refrigerator is always very nice.

Hotel is currently being renovated, will be great to have all new carpets. Our room still did not have the rubber baseboards installed and ac control on the wall in the bedroom. Elevators were broken due to recent storms- and doors to stairway were difficult to open. Overall good location near shopping and convenient to interstate.

I will be honest. I like Candlewoods to due the spaciousness of the rooms and the pet policy.|The service here is great and the location is ideal for expressway access. If you AU business or going to campus often, it’s ok.|My complaint is the features are older. To stay competitive, it needs to be updated. Bath was old and dingy, same with light fixtures. Bed squeaked when I rolled over. Odd, but not bad smell when I entered the room. I thought about switching hotels, decided against it. Overall I was happy I didn’t, but I doubt I will stay there again if not updated.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for the Outstanding Customer Service. Ryan Kalenza, General Manager is very hospitable, accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. It is reasonable priced. The only disadvantage it is currently under renovation and a bit dusty and out dated.
