Great American diner fare in a really comfortable environment. Service is friendly, efficient, and welcoming. It feels like a small town gathering.

We started with zucchini sticks. Simple, fried, and yummy - with that strangely better restaurant ranch.

My daughter had chicken strips - which like an egg is simple thing that’s surprisingly hard to do well consistently. This one was good.

I had the calico melt. It’s a tasty creation that just screams hometown cafe. The parm sourdough was unique - and different than typical diner preparation, it was slathered in butter/oil before grilling. It was nice and light.

It’s a nice, open space, with a separate bar on the side. Despite being quite busy. it didn’t feel noisy or crowded. Parking slightly sparse, but nothing too difficult.

We stopped coming back to the Valley from Vegas. Location works well (as you can pass the backup at I-40 flying down the right side and then take an easy cruise down Route 66 to rejoin I-40 around the bend.

A while back my wife and I decided to give this family owned restaurant a second try. I decided to order the open turkey face sandwich. Ti my surprise the kitchen used turkey sandwich meat...not real turkey as they would use real slow cooked roast for open face roast beef sandwich.
I had only taken a couple of bites. I'm sure the waitress noticed that I left a full plate of food, after having her help me pick something hearty as I told her I an appetite. She didn't even offer to pack it up for me, just cleared my full plate..not that I would have taken it home.. after leaving the restaurant i called the manager on my way home. Hey blamed the issue on their suppliers and covid. To me, that excuse was exhausted. He did offer to make it right, wanting us to give them a second chance. At this point, if you can't even make a simple turkey sandwich using real turkey, allowing that mess to leave your kitchen. That made my decision for us not to go back.. hate to give this type of review but when you go out to eat it should be a good experience. You she be experience good service, good food, and a good atmosphere. After all, your paying for that service! This business lacked on all three.

Lovely Cafe, great ambiance, beautiful pictures of desert scenery. The food is delicious and reasonable serving sizes. Plenty of beers on tap, Space Dust was a bonus! Haven't tried the salad bar yet but it's on the list for next time. Has a great gift shop near entrance for any souvenirs. Lots of parking and right of the road for easy access and visibility.

What a great find. Easy access from 40. Very clean, friendly and lots of room and parking. Our server was very sweet and attentive. The food was delicious and big
Portions. I had the roadrunner and hubby had French dip.

We love stopping here on our drive to Arizona. Great service & great food! Zucchini appetizer, and prime rib is out of this world. Our waitress was great!

Food was great and good service. They also have a buffet, but I think it may only be on Sundays. We were trying to eat a bit healthier, so skipped the buffet, but it looked delicious. Lots of pastries, omelets, biscuits n gravy, fruit, grits, etc....also had a salad bar. We both ordered oatmeal, which was great. My husband got steak and eggs with sliced tomatoes. It was delicious. I got a veggie scrambler with fruit. We both got English muffins. We would go back if in the area again.

Service was welcoming and friendly. 😊 Breakfast buffet on a Sunday morning was $16.99. I forgot pics but presentation was very good. Clean, organized and fresh. Prepared hot food was good. Nothing exceptional, but absolutely nothing negative to mention. Lots of tasty pastries! Overall, the price; a sign of the times. Food and service, 2 thumbs up with a relief as a first time visitor and now as a potential return guest!

I definitely will be back. First off even though they were super busy.. our waitress was soooo great! She got all the small little details right (because I am so picky about my order.. my husband not picky- but I have lots of no's and yeses...and not once was there any attitude.. lol like i usually get at other places) I was also so happy with the food and the bloody Mary's there are so so good!
I don't recommend the Sunday brunch.. but definitely order off the menu... worth every penny!
