Clean and orderly with cool landscaping. Staff was nice.

Kids were pool noodle fighting so no chance of using that area. Can hear coyotes at night surrounding the fences.

Spaces not angled and roads are tight for turns for bigger rigs. Expensive for one night though as we used little of the facility.

We stopped at this location for one night. It was dark when we arrived, and it was hard to find our spot. There are no lights in the park except from other Rvs and a fairly large place. We loved the location, and it was nice to have a large fenced-in area for our dogs, but there was no grass for them. We wish we had arrived earlier so we could enjoy all the park had to offer. Bathrooms were one of the better ones we stayed in and pretty clean. We read some bad reviews about the staff but we didn't have any interaction with them so can't comment on them but we're told by one RVer to not cut thru properties that they would not be happy.

I review while still on site. Especially when I can help you avoid a few things. Dark sky? No. Not if you are put in the pull through. The guy with the trump banner and confederate flag has more lights than I’ve ever seen allowed. We had an issue the first night and I wasn’t impressed with how it was handled. A dog in distress howling and whelping for three hours. We have health issues currently and rest was needed. Not stress. Our dog was stressed. It matters to have on site help. We will stay at KOA for ten bucks more.
I normally do not read the response. This one is typical. They allow a confederate flag in here. I didn’t see it until the next day. If we would have, we would not have stayed and demanded a refund. Allowing political flags and banners will be your doom. Also, you wanted me to go out and see where the dog was. That’s your job. I told you how.l I Would handle someone abusing their dog. That is abuse. It was completely in a break down and sounded possibly injured. So yes, I would break a window if I thought a dog left was dying. You writing about me as a threat is really rich. You project. You are the threat here. A dog suffered because you didn’t call them until the dog was doing this for 2 hours. It started at 5 and ended at 8. Congratulations on getting me to respond though. This place looks like a nightmare as well. Care about the landscape. It’s sad.
Update 9/14 he dog has diarrhea and is crapping all over. In the dog park which we never use anywhere because of this. It’s a place to get diseases. This place will never clean up the stuff on the road or in the rocks. Absolutely disgusting. We leave early tomorrow. Never to return and we go by several times a year. This manager after being told we are having health issues has told us we could move? Then after my review she tried to get us to leave? We are here to rest up. She was told that clearly. She didn’t give a shit. And she didn’t care about a suffering dog. Three hours of torture it went through. And is now sick. If it’s parvo virus highly contagious and deadly. Beware.

## Review: Cactus Country RV Park - A Disappointing Experience

My stay at Cactus Country RV Park was unfortunately marred by a series of negative encounters with the park management. While the park's natural setting and location were appealing, the overall experience was significantly impacted by the unprofessional and hostile behavior of the manager.

From the outset, the manager's demeanor was abrasive and unwelcoming. Despite the park's advertised 55+ age restriction, I was given a single, expensive option without any explanation or flexibility. Additionally, the manager's unreasonable demands, such as requiring a copy of my ID five days after checking in, added to the negative experience.

Furthermore, the manager's repeated assertion that "the buck stops with her" was a defensive tactic, indicating a lack of accountability and an attempt to assert her authority. This behavior contributed to a hostile and unpleasant atmosphere.

Despite the park's website stating that they are all-ages if they have vacancies, the manager made it clear that she was doing me a favor by allowing me to stay. This condescending attitude added to the negative experience and left me feeling unwelcome.

Safety was another major concern. A simple accident in the dog park resulted in a head injury that required medical attention. Despite leaving a voicemail and texting the park office number where she refused to identify herself , I received no follow-up or support. It became clear that guests are largely left to fend for themselves in case of emergencies.

It's worth noting that the manager's defensive responses to negative reviews are a common theme among multiple complaints. Her refusal to take responsibility for her actions and her inability to address concerns in a constructive manner are significant red flags for potential guests.

While the park's natural beauty and location are undoubtedly appealing, the negative experiences with the management far outweigh any positive aspects. If you're seeking a peaceful and welcoming RV park, I strongly advise you to consider other options.

This lady wants credit for putting one box on a golf cart and driving it down to my spot.

No Incident report or anything BEWARE

She says her place passes with flying colors.Yet she's got a camera At the pool ran by extension cord held up with tape. She's got.
An excuse for everything I wonder what this one will be. Nuff said.

Wonderful place to stay just outside of Tucson. Right off the freeway, without the disturbance of traffic. Lots and lots of wildlife and desert plants. We’ve seen coyotes, hawk families, endless birds and many species of reptiles. Hiking and walking areas in all directions. Groceries, fast food and Walmart within 10 mins drive.Clean showers, restrooms, laundry facilities and pool area. Staff is amazing and always willing to work with us when we ask for late checkouts. The only RV spot we stay at in Tucson.

The manager is very unwelcoming just looking at her angry face can ruin your day. I hope that place goes bankrupt if she is an investor or she get kicked out. The world would be a nicer place without her.
