My friends and I booked the 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Chickasaw cabin for 3 guests. We received a call from the company telling us we'd be charged an additional $30/night for a 3rd person... For a 3 bedroom cabin that sleeps 6 people.

What a scam.

Update: To cancel our booking (it's currently February, we booked for May) they are only providing an 80% refund.

Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Not enough supplies for the kitchen. Had pans with the wrongs size lids or nothing at all to use. Really had to watch using towels because they didn't leave many. Extra blankets were non existent. We had to clean the place before we could live there for a few days. The water stunk terribly and was very hard well water. I'm not sure how we were to use the dvd player because none of the remotes worked for it! Overall The cabin wasn't terrible itself, but everything else took away from the experience

Cute little place for the weekend at Hocking Hills. Lake for fishing/kayaking. Comfy. Clean. There's a bird that hangs out and taps on ur window at 7 am lol

Only negatives were the fire pit is under a tick filled tree so be careful. And some of the jets were out in the hot tub. But still was nice and relaxing.

Would def stay Agian.

We stayed in the Chickasaw cabin and ended up leaving a day early as we were not pleased. Cabin was very outdated, stains on the carpets, no extra blankets/towels/wash cloths. No sponge for the sink- not even an extra dish washing pod? We also paid to bring our dog and were promised a dog bed would be provided but when we got there- no dog bed at all. No communication on check out instructions. Very overpriced for what you’re getting- not sure how this place has a 4+ star rating but if you look up Venture in Real Estate who owns them the reviews are much more accurate in reflecting their properties.

We just returned from our week at Cherokee cabin. The location was quiet and private . . . our favorite from seeing the other locations. The king bed was comfortable. The water pressure was very good and plenty of hot water. BUT, (for the kitchen), the fluorescent kitchen lights were blinding, there was no light above the stove (very dark to cook), there was NO toaster so we had to broil our bread, even though it was advertised as FULLY EQUIPPED kitchen, two of the cookpots had burned material in the bottom we had to clean, and no light above the eat-in island (hard to see food when eating). Also no glasses except for one so we had to drink water etc. from mugs. No mixing bowls or large baking dish. The water was overbearing in its rotten sulfur smell in the shower and kitchen. We had to buy spring water to drink. My husband explained why it was that way and assured me it was safe to drink and wash in, so we tried to get used to it. The bathroom towels and washcloths were plentiful but were a mishmash and some were stained (yuk). There was a missing lightbulb in the nightlight and a few smoke alarms were dismantled. "The Management" provided an envelope for the housekeeper's tip, which was sadly torn on the bottom (already used) and on the back.

We have been to this cabin before and we plan to go back again. It is clean, well maintained and located in a beautiful area of the hills. The kitchen has all the essentials so we are able to easily make our own meals. There is a two person swing on the back deck for relaxing in the morning and a hot tub for cool evenings. The owner is friendly and willing to make your stay special. She even left us some home made goodies! We loved it. Highly recommend

We chose the Shawnee cabin and it suited the both of us well. It was spacious with the cathedral ceiling, king size bed and hot tub on the back deck. The cabins are secluded so make sure you use the directions the staff give you and not the directions from Google Maps. As soon as we got there and turned up into the drive to the cabin there was a doe with 2 fawns right in front of us. What a great way to begin our stay. We had a rabbit visit us everyday, as well as a chipmunk, and the peace and quiet was so relaxing. And so was the hot tub! There was a Walmart about 10 min drive from the cabin, on the other side of the highway so we went there and stocked up on food, snacks and drinks. The cabins are very clean and come with everything you could want, except for shampoo and conditioner. We found homemade squares when we arrived which tasted so good and made us both feel welcome and at home. The bed was very comfortable and so too were the pillows. The cabin has many windows, with blinds, so when the blinds are open you can see outside from every direction and they make the cabin feel large and bright. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend these cabins!

My husband and I decided on a Monday we wanted to do an overnight on Wednesday. The Cabin in the Pines made and exception for their 2 night minimum for us which was wonderful! We stayed in the Shawnee cabin. Very quiet, deck and hot tub were very private (leaves were still on trees). The place was clean and comfortable although not posh it felt very cozy and well stocked. Cookies were a nice touch! The king bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was great. It was close to the hocking we wanted to do. I would definitely book here again!
