A more accurate name would be NEAR the Lake. It’s “by” a pond. If you want to hike the nearly 2 miles for a picnic at the Lake, you will be walking on the 2-lane street. I didn’t find a path - no sidewalk. The RV sites are nice, clean, and easy to access. Just note you will need a car to get around.

I absolutely loved staying at By the Lake! The facilities were so well kept and maintained. The staff were so accommodating! Especially Susie!! That place would not be the same without her!🙏 She is the most kind and caring person and she made my stay there amazing. She was always there when I had questions or concerns and she made it her mission to help out and get answers as fast as she could! She definitely went above and beyond her job duties to make sure the park was in peak condition. I love how dog friendly the park was, and my GSD sis just loved Susie! She was so happy to see her anytime we were outside! Thank you so much for the care and service you provided during my stay Susie!! You’re the best!

The groundskeeper was very friendly and super attentive to her job/details. Check-in was easy and location was very clean, large clean bathhouse AND laundry, which is nice bonus! The pool was a wonderful break from the HEAT! We would stay here again, no doubt!

I would like to say this Rv by the park is one of the nicest place I have been to. And the restrooms and the wash room is the cleanest I have ever seen in a camp site before. And the host and maintance crew is some of the best I have ever felt with. Polite caring and very helpful. They saved my trailer my stool valve broke and was flooding my trailer they drove by seen shut the water off and called me and told when I got back the gentleman on duty that day help me get it scared away. With no problems at all. And the camp ground are very clean as well mowed nice trimmed well. I will be back for sure I give it a+ rating

The staff was very friendly and made sure we were aware of safety areas for weather. The camp was clean and well maintained. During our stay, there was a tornado warning. The staff went site to site making sure everyone heard the alarm and moved to the shelter.

Laundromat and bathrooms are alright, minus the fact that men can't have anything close to a cold shower, but my major dislike about this place is the awful wifi reception. My phone quite simply can't connect to it inside my camper, and even outside it struggles to connect. The wifi is utter crap so you better bring your own data.

This use to be a great family location, but due to the new ownership and employees it has gone down hill. I will no longer come to or stay at this location. From day one we were threatened by a so called employee from Indiana, we were informed if we did not follow her rules she would tell her old man to kick us out of the park. Everyday we would watch her tell people that they could not come in the pool because they would not tell her there parking location or show her the paper inwhich they signed when checking in. She was known as the pool police. The grass was not cut, our spot was full of red fire and it cost us $ 45.00 for spray to get them under control. Every night her husband and her would drive up and down the rows telling people.it was quite hours and to turn off there lights and music, but if you offered him a beer he would let it slide. I will correct one statement the lady that checked us in at the desk was very friendly. I will not recommend this park to anyone until the owners get more control and bring the grounds back to the old standards.
