Having our car worked on at AZ Euros and they recommended that we kill time at Buttered Up. Sure glad we did. The breakfast sandwich was hot and fresh. The cherry pie tart was delicious and warm. It’s wheelchair accessible. Small but clean dining area. Parking can be challenging, if it’s crowded.
UPDATE: We had the sausage pizza while still here waiting for our car to be serviced. Pizza on a croissant crust. So good!! Hot and fresh. Yummy 😋 🤤

i honestly don't know if i would call this bakery a cafe as it felt more like a pop-up shop that appeared randomly in the middle of some offices. if you didnt know it was already there chances are you wouldn't know it existed at all! it's very hidden and the layout is a bit different than your average cafe but that's not a bad thing! i just found it to be an interesting surpise.

i stopped by to try the kouign-amann and grabbed a croissant cinnamon role as well and i can honestly say that neither of them disappointed! the bread was so fluffy and tender and sweet on both of the pastieres i would definitely 100% go back for more!

The food here is great! The croissant was so flaky and crumbly, words fail. One of us got a sandwich, which was incredible. I got 3 of the pockets, and they were very delicious and flaky as well, and the fillings were right on, too. I just wish they had been bigger cause I needed a couple more. Next time I'll know. Soooo gooooood! Don't miss this place.

Stopped in to get some of the free sourdough starter, picked up some cheese Danish also which were delicious and very nice looking, lots of nice layers in the pastry! Day before Xmas Eve so it was not an ideal time. It looked like they had a great selection of breakfast sandwiches and some hanging out space. Kind of a strange location in a more industrial area.

WOW!! I found this amazing bakery while I was working! You walk in and instantly you smell the heavenly goodness of fresh baked bread and pastries! I grew up in San Francisco and I had access to delicious sourdough bread. After 13 years living in AZ, the best sourdough yet! Their croissant sandwiches are a must try! Doesn’t matter what kind. Connor and staff thank you so much for your excellent customer service and I will always be a loyal customer!!

Made fresh! So amazing! Flakey, soft, airy, literally heaven! Great prices also! Rather spend the same amount here for better products than a fast food place! Seriously amazing. Conner and Steven is so amazing. Really great staff here. Great job guys!
