“A True Taste of New York with a Family Touch!”

This pizza place is an absolute gem! The pizza was everything you could hope for in authentic New York-style—a perfect crust, flavorful toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. It truly brought back memories of classic NYC slices. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family.

We started this adventure with their garlic knots with mozzarella that comes with their amazing, mouth watering, 6 hour, slow simmered sauce. We couldn't even hold off and devoured them before I could get a proper picture but you will not be disappointed. We also got a couple slices, a salad and some nice, crispy, meaty chicken wings. Everything, and I mean everything, came out absolutely delicious and with their special touch.

What made the experience even more special was the hospitality. Jimmy, the owner, runs the place with his family, and their passion for what they do really shines through. Not only was the staff incredibly friendly, but Jimmy himself sent out a couple of treats from the kitchen, adding a personal touch that made us feel like part of the family. Even got some awesome Buono's swag to rep!

I can’t wait to return and introduce more people to this amazing spot. If you’re looking for authentic, mouthwatering pizza served with genuine care and warmth, this is the place to go!

Buono’s is the best authentic Italian new york style pizza place in AZ. the staff is super friendly and the food is great too. I’ve tried many different things here and nothing has ever disappointed me. this time I had their new sandwich Hero Bomber and it’s really good. give it a try and you won’t regret it.

This place is like cheers... for pizza. Great and friendly service, excellent crust (thin with juusssst enough flop), sauce and cheeze are present without overwhelming the flavor of the pie. And the specials are excellent. My favorite pizza in phoenix.

We went to Buonos last Saturday Jan 25th and had a great experience!

The owners are no doubt NYers. Except for it was better than my NY pizza experiences.

our waiter Katie took great care of us, even though we were those people who showed up an hour before closing !

We ordered the chicken parm-garlic -Knot sliders (highly encourage not on menu) , XL Pepperoni/black olive Napoletana, and a chicken - philli.

Food is very hot. Not a complaint btw!

Everything was great, from the crust on the pizza, to the rolls the sub was served on. We will be back Friday and ordering out in a week for the Super Bowl!

Pizza was good. But in my opinion pricey. It wasn't busy. We ordered two to pizzas but I think they forgot to make one because the pepperoni didn't come out for another 15+ minutes. Making some in our party have to wait, as they couldn't eat the supreme that did come.

We loved this place! I'd give their Margherita top 3 for best New York style pizzas in AZ. It's so nice to find good NY style pizza on the East side of the valley. We went there two weeks in a row and are considering a third. A bonus that dining in with tip doesn't break the bank. This one is going in our regular rotation for eat out favorites!

We walked in never hearing of the place before but wanting to try something new. The atmosphere was amazing, themed very well and had great decorations all around. It really put that New York/Chicago feeling and felt very authentic. Overall had a really welcoming feeling to it. We were sat down pretty quick by the friendly staff and the wait time for the food wasn't too long either. We got boneless wings to start, it was good not too much too say. Then we also got a margarita pizza. The pizza was delicious, the crust was crispy and the cheese had a pull too, that was a huge plus. Again the staff was really friendly and regularly checked up on us. Even to answer my silly question of the pronunciation of the restaurant. I would highly recommend and will be coming back in very soon.

Today I tried Buonos for the first time. I travel from Canada to Gilbert AZ alot. I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THE SPOT OF SPOTS.!!! To call this place mind blowing would be and understatement. I had a slice of the Sicilian as well as an order of the meatballs with ricotta. Let's start with the Sicilian slice, great dough ,light ,crisp ,buttery .The sauce, fantastic seasoned fantastic ,perfect amount of cheese. Just a great slice. THE PINNACLE......THE MEATBALLS AND RICOTTA...this dish is on another level all together. I love meatballs so I will often get them at itialian spots most of witch are dine in sit down dinner places. THESE are probably the best I've ever had with a few splashes of there sauce and heaping globs of ricotta around 2 of the most tender full of flavor balls ever. So dam good I can not explain fully . These are a must try . Get a slice of garlic toast or maybe even a slice of Sicilian to dip in the left over sauce. THANK YOU so much for the care you put into your food. The lady working the front is a total sweetheart. Love it and can't wait to come back.......tomorrow..lol no joke see u tomorrow.
