This was a total flavor experience! The food was delicious, the atmosphere perfect, made us feel like we were in Mexico, decoration perfect, not overdone. Detail down to the music was perfect! Was our 1st time here, we did have a wait for our table, but It was totally worth it! The cafe de olla was perfect, not overly sweet at all as in most places. The cinnamon tea was so refreshing! The tortilla soup was so yummy, they even provided chiltepines with the chiltepin crusher. They offered limes, I always say yes as a true Mexican usually does. We will definitely be back and we recommend this new favorite!

The service was great! The server was very attentive despite how busy it was. The wait for a table was 45 minutes and I thought it would be worth it but it was a little less tasty than average food. I had the chilaquiles and my daughter had the stuffed poblano pepper. They looked better than they tasted. I’m glad their pricing was fair though.

Just like walking into Nana's house. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the staff is amazing. Not a very big place, so that helps with the feeling of being at home.

The food is great. The Chilaquilas are fantastic and the Cafe de Olla is a must, especially with the Maria's Cookies that you get.

Overall, the service and experience is what gives this restaurant a total 5 star rating. Every single person we interacted with was truly alegre, and seemed genuinely happy to be working and serving customers. The decor is so cute and the food is really yummy. We waited about 45 minutes on a Sunday for brunch, and it was worth the wait. Menu favorites: Cafe de olla (the best I've ever had), sweet cinnamon iced tea, chicken mole enchiladas, and empanada de rajas con crema 😋

Popular place. Almost always a wait. They will call you when your table is ready.
Vegan options! Very well marked. Nopales y red sauce was delicious. The beans are excellent. I will order extra next time. Tortillas delicious and fresh. Can't wait to try more of the vegan options.

The cute little bags they bring out with the check are not free lol but you can buy one. $7. I did. It's adorbs

I would love to highlight the service first, before anything else. They truly make you feel as if you are a guest in their home. When your meal is served, they sprinkle some “ Alegria “ on it for good measure. It’s the little things. Beautifully decorated too.

The food: The chilaquiles divorciados were just for me which is why this review gets 4 and now 5 stars. I much preferred the green salsa. The red salsa was not spicy at all and lack flavor in my opinion. The tamal & cheese stuff poblano dish was excellent. Rice was well cooked and paired well with the dish. The eggs were cooked exactly the way we asked. I didn’t care for the beans that accompany the meal. They started us off with some complimentary chips & salsa which is a nice touch too. Overall would be back, eager to try new things.

Try to get here as early as possible. We got here at 8:05 just when they opened and we beat the near 45+ min wait that’s usually at this popular local spot.
