As bad as this place is I think it's time to wrap it up. Terrible customer service, rooms are horrible, the only thing this place is affordable, but even then I'm still convinced that this place should NOT be accommodating the public & I've got questions.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I just needed a room overnight. The first room the TV didn't work. In the second room upon entry smelled of smoke. The air conditioner filter was filthy as well as the vent in the bathroom. At 5am I was awaken because of the sensation of something crawling on me. It was a roach crawling on my face. After flicking it away I moved the bed and I see dead roaches and a empty chips bag. The refrigerator has dust and other stuff stuck in the grooves. I called the front desk and stated that I wanted a refund at checkout. I was told Sorry no refunds and checkout is at 11am thank you and he hung up

Family oriented and very kind. The area may be a tad rough but they go out their way to treat and protect each guest like family.

Disgusting roach motel!! When I first checked in with my baby I noticed the hotel was a little off candler rd so I thought it would be a little better. I was wrong! First walking into the room you can tell it was meant for a prostitute. The smell was dark and smoky. I even see a cigarette on the floor near the bathroom and ashes on the toilet. When I asked the man for a different room because the one I was in wasn’t clean he simply told me there isn’t any . I wouldn’t recommend this to anybody

When I walked into the bathroom it looked like every roach in Decatur was having a staff meeting on the floor. I have honestly never seen so many roaches in my life. They’re every where. The bathroom, the sink, the stove, in the walls. I was scared to even move my belongings elsewhere because I felt like they were in my bags and I didn’t want to infest my home. The tub and toilet were filthy. The fridge was filthy. The cleanliness of the bed linens and towels is questionable. When I told front desk about the bugs he told me he would try to find some bug spray and leave it by my room. If I had a dollar for every roach I killed while I stayed here I’d have enough to renew my room for a week. I’ve stayed at other hotels that were cheaper and were 10x cleaner than the room I was in and that’s saying a lot considering this room was only $75 a night. You can seek the stains on the wall from people smoking in the rooms. The wallpaper and baseboards are literally peeling off. You could not pay me to stay here another night. I highly recommend sleeping elsewhere, like at a bus stop, or a Walmart bathroom, over staying at this hotel.

Very spacious. This is my third experience here, 2/3 was a good experience. Quiet occasionally, remodeled rooms. Very big king bed. Shower had no shower curtain and my bathroom creeped me out. I love the new lights. Direct tv. Clean no bugs. Always inspect your room before being checked in after 10 minutes. If you are not comfortable just ask for a new room. Not too fond of the front desk. The lady yelled at me the last time i stayed because i was complaining about the noise next door but it was fairly quiet my previous visit. Checked in at 1030 for 65 anything time before then you'll be over paying.

I called and made reservations for a room for myself and my family. We arrived at 3:30 am(August 15, 2003) and the clerk had no knowledge of our reservations. We paid for a room and when we got in the room it was 98 degrees in the room!! I attempted to turn on the A/C and nothing! I went down to the office to request a room that was already cool and had working air. The clerk explained that the air in the room works but he had to turn it on from the office. I aksed if any of the empty rooms were already cool and he replied "NO...you will have to give it time". I tried to explain to the guy that his plan was insane and certainly not customer friendly and he put up his hand to "shoosh me"!! I promptly requested a refund and left! I have NEVER been treated so rudely!! I would STRONGLY advise EVERYONE, (even people I don't like) to stay away from this DUMP! I went down the street to the Howard Johnson's and got a BETTER room for $20 a night cheaper than the Ramada and the "Ho Jo" has a swimming pool. The rooms were nice and clean and cool! You get breakfast in the lobby in the morning! I will NEVER EVER EVER patronize a Ramada establishment again! I'll sleep in the Car first!

This motel is definitely a joke. The old front lady is rude, there is no phone in the room, no soap to wash your hands and the shower head is horrible. I could write more but I'm going to leave it at that. Folks of color is really not accepted here yet we are the ones staying in there establishment.
