Our stay was ok, considering the motel has the word budget in its name! We had searched for 2 hours trying to find a motel with vacancy and finally booked a room here. The man at the front desk was very helpful, gladly letting me check out rooms beforehand. Our biggest complaint was that the room didn't feel too clean. It wasn't super bad but the sheets were stained. Also the room had a musty smell. It did appear like they have been trying pretty hard to keep things up tho, after I read the reviews on this place. We didn't find this place anywhere near as bad as the reviews made it out to be. It could be that the new ownership is better. I didnt try the Wi-Fi but they did give a password and username. There was also a pool but I can't comment on that as we didn't try it.

When I was unloading my luggage from my car, there were three gunshots less than a block away. A few minutes later, the police were cruising throughout the area.
This place is a dump, and in a combat zone. When I left in the morning, the security guard was chasing off a homeless guy who was loitering. At least they have a security guard, they need one, or more. The room was scary. I did not take a shower because I was so concerned about germs, and I am not germophobic. I actually slept in my clothes and did not take off my sox. Why did I stay here at all, it was late at night and I was dead tired. I gave it a one-star because there are no Negative Stars....

Not very clean. Carpet was horrible and damp. Smelled bad. Poor bedding and pillows. Too expensive for a very poor experience. Lots of homeless people are staying there. Short review: stay elsewhere.

For the most part I enjoy staying there, but I believe the prices are a little high considering that not all of the rooms have a fridge and/or microwave.

This hotel doesn't deserve a rating. I'm surprise that the hotel industry doesn't investigate. The beds are sagging, sofa broke, the dresser drawers broken, the room smell horrible, bed bugs on the mattress, mold

The TV didn't work ,front desk came and placed another TV in the room and still the problem isn't fixed ?!!!!!!Like every Hotel I've ever worked at checked every inch of their rooms to insure that every thing worked!!!Geesh it isn't that freaking hard to get something to see on a TV!!Never again !!!!!!

There is cockroaches, the a.c. sucks its cooler outside and this is Alabama.and after that the lady that works the night is incredibly rude. I mean this is the hospital business right?
