Hi this is Tonya Marie Dotson i would never trust Budget Inn because Michelle there the manger of the hotel or the motel or whatever it is. is rude as hell . my cat either passed away on Wednesday February 19th 2025 or Thursday February 20th 2025 but i don't know what time but they could have called my cousin Brooke but instead they told my payee and my payee had to call me and tell me that my cat passed away in the bathtub. the only person i like there is Makayla the night shift and sometimes the day shift staff .Makayla would go interacted with my cat when i wasn't there. I just want to give a huge thanks to Makayla for helping me out with my cat and going interacting with my cat too.

Movie first came to Ohio my wife and I stayed at this hotel it was run down and trashy and really really needed a lot of repairs and work since then we came back and stayed and the help is different the rooms are immaculate compared to what they used to be very very nice place to stay, and a staff Michelle and Holly are two of the best people they care and they take care of you so if you stayed here before it's nothing like it used to be and if you haven't ever stayed here come see what it's about.

This place has come a very long way. The new managers have worked really hard to get this place more family-friendly and safe for their guests. I gave them 5 stars on everything, including the rooms, because what you get for the price is way more than what you'd expect. The customer service was great. I made a reservation and my room was ready to go when I arrived. I didn't have to wait until a certain time to check in, and I was grateful for that as I had driven 8 hours and had been up all night. I was so happy to have a clean, quiet room to get rest and rejuvenate for my long drive home the following day. Not only was I happy with the room which by the way is a great price for people like me who are traveling on a budget, but the staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome. This has always been my first choice when coming back to my home town, but now , under the new management, I will be staying here every time I visit. I would like to thank the folks at the Budget Inn for the quiet, comfortable room and the friendly welcome. Also, thank you to the housekeeper for such a clean room.

Well I've been renting a room from here on archer drive for about 2 weeks now I was going to get a nother week but they are so unprofessional here for one no room service house keeper nothing then wants to complain about us bringing our own pillows and blankets and clothes in saying there then we got a jet tub room and the jets does not Work in the tub. And whenever we plug in something in the bathroom in the top plug, there's a vibration like the jets are on for some reason it's weird .. then said they are Going to switch our room every 3 weeks smh I don't understand that unless there something going on here No license maybe? Then the woman Has been nothing but rude to us since we've been here. Then there's a guy in a wheelchair with one leg, he's mean as hell. Then they set a trash can right in front of my room. Door and now a whole bunch of flies are in my room.They are just so gross here. Im not sure but I'm thinking about calling someone. Because the way they treat guest is ridiculous!!worst place to get a roomDO NOT DO IT
Update *******then I went to pay for one more night they said I'm on the DO NOT RENT LIST BECAUSE OF MY REVIEW ..WELL GET YOUR HOTEL TOGETHER ARABS SMH!!

I have stayed here many times very clean, and spacious . The Staff and owner are amazing and very sweet they allow pets and the price ISNT outrageous like other hotels. if I could rate this place, it would be 10/10 hands down !!
I’ve never had any issues with this location and it’s convenient to fast food and other shopping centers.

Ewwww!! bedbugs! There was pubes on the toilet seat! Also there was a cigarette stain on my pillow, and the wall's paint was chipping. Must say the breakfast was pretty good... And the staff we're really nice and understandimg. Pool wasnt even open.. the fitness area..It wasn't exactly bad, it just REEKED! I mean guess you're getting what you payed for. Not 1 star though because the receptionist made sure I got a better room and she even checked it herself to made sure it was fine.

Out of the 3 cheap motels in that area of Troy, Budget Inn is DEFINITELY the best value for your money. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, the beds are confortable, and overall it's a pretty quiet place. It has a bit of a bad reputation because of it's past but the new management has cleaned it up a lot. Most of the rooms have been renovated and the ones that haven't are currently in the process of being renovated. A lot of the rooms have smart TVs too. I highly recommend this motel to anyone needing a clean confortable and safe place to stay in Troy. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Troy. Oh, also they have great weekly rates
