The food taste, friendly staff and chef went above and beyond to make our lunch time amazing. We’re in the middle of desert, drivinng toward Phoenix. We are surprised to see INDIAN style restaurant/Dhaba on our way and thought of giving it a try. We picked Buffet ( 12$ ) and the number of items/options on the menu are great. I tried regular Naan, Tandoori Naan, Saag and the rest of the items .. every other item is delicious. Especially, Keer ( dessert ) is too good. Also, mango lassi and sweet lassi are too good. Overall, we all enjoyed the lunch and friendly atmosphere. Checkout some pictures…. I would suggest travellers to checkout this place and enjoy some authentic INDIAN cuisine.

By the way- The location has gas, softdrinks and decent washrooms.

In the middle of desert, I felt this location as OASIS.

It’s 24*7 open!!!!!

Pretty please wash the doors, the glass, I feel it's never happened since I've been coming here. I get that it's an old building and it's hard to make things look clean, but it helps when you try. Mop the floors, whip off the counters, the menus and tell the guys to stop touching their noses and hair while running the registers, it does not make folks feel great about what we can't see happening in the kitchen. The next time I find those glasses clean I'm gonna come in and order one of each of my favorite items, samosas and the tandoori chicken.

Yes the food is good like all other reviews..but definitely a choice to make if all fast food options have lapsed. Only because it is too heavy on oil, spices and artificial color. Overall, we had a very average experience as the food was too spicy

Definitely a must go to restaurant !! We were returning from Grand Canyon and had a stay at kingman and could not find any good restaurants other than American, Mexican which we had for 2 days in canyon so we wanted to eat something else and found the perfect restaurant.
The food was so so amazing that it reminded of our Punjabi friend of her home. We had samosa chaat and 4 curries - karai paneer, black daal, rajma and saag paneer and naans and rotis. The naans are so so soft that it was one of the best place where I had such great naan. All the 4 curries/dal were amazing and you can check the picture to see the quantity which was huge too. And moreover it’s very cheap !! Definitely more than value for the money and service is amazing. The guys are so polite and welcoming. Overall amazing food with amazing people with great rates make it the best Indian food restaurant experience not considering the ambiance.

If you'd told me three weeks ago, "Hey I know this great Indian restaurant at a truck stop in semirural Arizona," my response probably would've been, "Nah, I'm good. Thanks." But I was driving through during the Xmas-New Year holiday, and this was one of the few available options. Plus, it had a lot of good reviews on Google.

First, I'll say that these guys (it was all young men in the kitchen and behind the counter) have their priorities straight. It's all about the food and hospitality. No, they don't have white table cloths, servers in black pants and aprons and white shirts. No "traditional" Indian music playing softly in the background. No appropriately-dimmed lighting to set off the ambiance. Nope. This joint looks more like a roadside diner with linoleum floors and flourescent lighting. You order at the counter, go find a table, and listen to a really good 'video jukebox' playing Indian hip-hop. I don't know anything about Indian hip-hop, and definitely don't understand the lyrics, but the artists playing that day had flow and beats. After a few minutes, someone (probably the same person working at the counter) will bring a carafe of water and some plastic tumblers. About 10 minutes after that, he returns with your plates and cutlery and your food. The food comes in plastic to-go containers (which is good, because whatever you don't eat you WILL want to take home).

Look, like a lot of people, I eat Indian food probably about 1-2 times a month. And, like a lot of people, I've never been to the country. My only exposure to what I assume to be "authentic" cuisine is when I've had dinner at friends' houses. That said, I have no authority to say that Brothers Punjabi Dhaba is "authentic," but I'm pretty sure it is. The day I was there, there were about seven or eight tables which came and went. Only two (one of which was mine) were people from the US. That other table clearly were first-timers who had read the reviews like us. The other tables were families -- some of three generations -- from India whose little kids seem to have been born in the US. Their familiarity with the staff indicated to me that they were regulars. If I lived in the area, I'd bring my family there on the regular as well.

In any case, Brothers Punjabi Dhaba offers delicious food, great music, and excellent hospitality. Check it out.
