This bbq place is everything you want from a hole in the wall kinda joint! The meat is smoked over real wood, not a pellet or water “smoker”. The sides were all homemade and absolutely delicious!
Ribs were done perfectly
Pulled pork was done perfectly
Even the damn sweet tea was done perfectly
Well worth the drive up from Montgomery, and beats the hell outta everything round here! (We got it to go, and the above holds true)
Also,
The staff/owners were as awesome as the food!

Good BBQ and good prices. BBQ isn't consistent. Flavor is not consistent and the amount of slimy stuff has increased.

Had the stew and 1lb of pulled pork. Both were very good. I liked that the pork was a chunky texture and wasn't shredded like it came out of a blender like other places in town. The lady who served me was also very nice and polite. Will be coming back for sure.
