We were looking for a unique dinning experience while staying in Tuscon with our RV friends. Found Brother John’s BBB following Google.
What a great find. Made a reservation as it was Friday night. Got a great table and our Waitress Destiney, helped us pick some nice Bourbons before and after dinner,I liked the house small batch. Orders food which came out fast. Baby back and St. Louis ribs were great, but the brisket stole the show! I asked for a lean cut and it was soft and full of natural smoke flavors. Finished with another Bourbon and left as the band was playing, stay for the music but they play late.

Pretty cool spot with a nice atmosphere, food is pretty good as well. If you never had it before I suggest getting a sampler platter that way you can try a bit of everything!
Staff is super friendly as well.

I can’t say enough great things about the catering and event staff at Brother John’s. I planned a 50th birthday party in the private room and front patio with the events director, Diana and she was attentive to every detail and request we had. Her and Becca were super creative and took my vision and made it happen beyond my expectations. They also helped with suggestions, always answered my questions and were available to meet several times before the party. Christie, Marissa and Jeffery were our servers and bartenders and they were so kind and helpful to our guests. We had so many compliments on the party and many people who want to book there too. The atmosphere was perfect for our party and plenty of room for the 60+ guests. We danced, ate amazing food, and enjoyed many of their specialty drinks. I’d have a party here again in a heartbeat. The price was also very reasonable. I even got to meet Brother John who is lovely. The entire staff worked very well together to make our event exceptional and we are truly thankful and thrilled about how well the party went.

First time trying here. Nice place. You can sit outside or sit inside. Live music on the weekends (at least). Staff is nice. Giant wall of bottles behind the bar. Big televisions to watch the game. Food was a bit expensive, but there was certainly plenty and it was tasty. We will be back in the future.

Another review coming at ya! 🤩 To note: I’m 30 weeks pregnant and went with my husband.

Todays lunch was over at Brother John's Beer, Bourbon & BBQ

Atmosphere was pleasant walking in. Only 2 families were there. Background music was great so it wasn’t dead silent.

We got seated right away, Jessica was our waitress and was very nice and pleasant and welcoming.

Total for meal without tip was $52.

Now on to the food:

Burnt end nachos: not much meat for how many chips you get at all, way too many jalapeños (personal preference).

Pulled pork sandwich (no slaw): little dry, there sauces on table was a variety to choose from but a house bbq sauce on the burger itself would’ve been nice.

House made buiscits: Kinda dry not really fluffy, butter had a weird smell to it.

Strawberry Daquiri: Perfect!

Strawberry lemonade: on the sweeter side rather than “lemony” but pretty good.

Fries: soft but crunchy on the outside which was yummy.

Ranch sauce: if I didn’t know I was getting ranch I wouldn’t have guessed it was ranch, not “ranchy” at all.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5
