Had another wonderful experience at the Bronze Antler. The service is top-notch with Tera being awesome in every way. The breakfast was incredible with not a huge serving but enough to be full and satisfied (and to not waste a bunch of food). We stayed in the suite with the private entrance and all the amenities that came with it.

While you pay a bit more, you get what you pay for and more. The soaker tub is deep enough to be fully submerged in glorious hot water. If showers are more your thing, the steam shower with both a wand and overhead shower heads will do you just fine.

Staying in Joseph during the winter has its perks as there is no where near the foot traffic or traffic period as the lake is essentially shut down. That being said, the shops aren't open nearly as late or open at all. But we didn't care. We stayed in and watched movies, soaked, and enjoyed the company.

I can't recommend this place enough. It's above and beyond the best place to stay in Joseph with one of the best hosts around. You won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back for a 3rd trip.

My first stay at the Bronze Antler. It was a great experience.
Tera served wholesome breakfasts and interesting conversations. Its central location made for short walks to restaurants and shopping. As an older single woman, I look for safe locations. Felt secure in. this B & B. Hope to visit Joseph again and stay at the Bronze Antler.

This was the second time we have stayed at the Bronze Antler and needless to say, we were blown away yet again. We stayed in the suite and if you have an opportunity to get the room, yes, it is more expensive, but it is so worth it.||The soaker tub is deep enough to submerge your entire body, the shower has a steam setting with both a top shower head and a wand. The bed is extremely comfortable with a mounted TV for easy movie viewing.||The home itself is extremely inviting and comfortable. The hostess, Tera, is amazing in every way. Extremely friendly and always willing to have a conversation, she makes the experience that much better.||Small conveniences like coffee, hot or cold water with tea and hot chocolate, complimentary cookies and soda just add to the value.||The breakfast, needless to say, is just as good, if not better than you'll find anywhere else.||The bottom line is there really isn't anywhere better to stay in Joseph. The hostess, the comforts, the breakfast. All unbeatable. We will be back again!

We have stayed at The Bronze Antler Inn three times in the past several months, and each time we leave we look forward to returning. TΓ©ra is a beautiful, intelligent and caring innkeeper who goes above and beyond to make your stay as pampered as possible. The inn is extremely well maintained, immaculately clean and welcoming. Bedrooms are cozy and comfortable. Bathroom utilities are modern and spotless. . You must stay here when visiting the area and don’t miss picking up a delicious cookie before heading to your room for the evening. You will fall asleep looking forward to a delightful, healthy and delicious breakfast to begin your next day!

The Bronze Antler has a wonderfully cozy and relaxing atmosphere, reminiscent of an old european inn, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time there! We can't overstate how relaxing it was -- far more cozy than anywhere else we've ever stayed before.
Tera always had a delicious breakfast ready in the morning, and had suggestions for local spots to check out and activities to try.
Location is perfect, with great views of the Wallowas, and within easy walking distance of downtown.

When we decided to visit Joseph, Oregon with friends, the number of places to stay was limited. The town doesn't have the typical hotels you see along the interstate. This B&B was a bit higher in cost than the apartment units being offered, but the quaint look drew us in. We're so happy it did, because from the first moment entering, it was a gift for everyone looking to be included in a comfortable, well-planned stay. Lovely, quiet rooms, not a spec of dust, and attentive, helpful staff. The breakfasts were amazing, keeping us feeling full for hours of exploration. We could come and go as we pleased, and the bonus for us was the Tesla charging station. Thank you for the wonderful memories. Saw the picture of your mom, Raylene, as one of the many historic photos placed around the house! We've never been to a place where you could have a cup of tea while sitting in a living room watching the sun come up.

I stayed at the Bronze Antler for an entire week while attending a writing conference at the Wallowa Lake Lodge. I can't say enough good things about it (but I'll try). First, the home itself, over one hundred years old, is pure charm, nicely decorated with antiques and pictures. You feel like you're stepping back in time. My bed was piled high with quilts, a desk was provided for a good working area, and the bathroom seemed newly renovated-light and bright with all the necessities a bathroom could need. The week was HOT, but thank goodness for the air conditioner in my room that worked well. Thank goodness also for the porch and garden, to lounge in, in the evenings while the temperature cooled. ||The best part of my stay was Teara, the manager of the inn. She greets with you with big smiles as she takes you to your room, introduces you to the inn, and politely asks, "What time would you like breakfast?" What an amazing breakfast it was! Frittatas, pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, granola, yogurt, homemade jams, coffee and juice. Can Teara come live with me? ||Thank you Bronze Antler, for making my visit to Joseph even more special than it was.
