The run down room was not very clean I'm not sure the bedding was cleaned but I wouldn't risk it and covered the entire bed with plastic sheeting and taped it down after the discovery of bed bugs and looking over the room for the usual drug residuals I was greeted by a roach that I would swear asked me if I knew where Joe was.The carpet was so dirty that after a cleaning with my residential carpet cleaner the carpet it looked as if I changed the carpet out. Upon checkout the manager asked me to remove the plastic that I was going to remove anyway yet because I was rushed and hounded to get out of the room some adhesive from the tape was stuck on the frame. He asked me why I had plastic on the bed I mentioned that there were bed bugs he stated we do not have bed bugs here and I replied you most certainly do and I can show you he then asked me what to do now speaking of the adhesive residue left over and I had mentioned that a little rubbing alcohol would quickly remove it and he said that it cost his people extra workdespite the fact that I said that I would gladly go and get some alcohol to remove the adhesive which he did not want me to do he just continued to be abrasive and wanted me out of the room saying that he should charge me a deposit and extra money for the services that he would have to pay his employees to do their job cleaning up after someone who stayed at their place I did not say anything but felt that I shouldn't have to charge him for the services that I rendered to carpet cleaning in insecticide and other cleaning that was done as I left no trash or any other evidence that I had been in the room aside from the residue that was left over from the adhesive on the tape. I would not recommend anybody who doesn't want to get eaten by bed bugs or be greeted by roaches from Joe's apartment to stay here simply because of the customer relations portion of my visit alone.

You must reconsider! Don't stay here it's a dive. We left in about 30 min they wouldn't give us a refund or our deposit back I mean I understand not to expect much when you stay at a roach motel. But this place is worse than anywhere I've ever stayed the owners were the rudest people ive ever rented a room from and definitely raceist The room was disgusting and had roaches they refused to give us towels we found used needles in the nightstand the comforter that was on the bed was soild and obviously hadn't been washed at ever we were only there 30 minutes and had to throw away all of our stuff because it was covered in bed bugs when we got to our next destination just an over all nightmare of an experience

It's a roof over your head, but honestly I'd rather sleep outside then in these rooms. They dont fix anything in your room. Especially if you are there long term, which for what they charge and what you get is ridiculous. But if you like not having all the lights working, not all electric outlets, TVs from the 80s, broken windows and doors, never being offered to clean your room, and finally roaches crawling all over the place, even on you when you Sleep then this is your place. Honestly I would recommend Canterbury Inn instead, prices are about the same and they have larger and nicer rooms.
Edit--first review a year ago maybe longer. If I could give a negative number rating it would be a -5. Thought I would be brave and see if things improved. Nope got worse, they run this place like a boarding house but without the kitchens. Still outdated rooms that smell and let the cold/hot air in. And the joke of the century, they upped the price for one person and 2 persons staying one night. Honestly the health dept doesn't care how these motels are ran. Stay here at your own risk is all I can say.

This is one step away from being homeless. This hotel is old and dilapidated and not worth 20$ a night. The beds are very uncomfortable and the hotel in general and a musty old smell to it.
Not sure how they even have 3 stars in the review as it's really bad.

Didn't clean my room. Had to supply my own toilet paper. Air Conditioning doesn't work. The water works when it wants to.......this was a miserable week.

Remodel is a must just to make it safe to stay in. Just to name couple major issues mold, rotten baseboards, Doors Barely shut yet alone lock. Gaps everywhere cold nights are horrible. Under $40 Per night more like it should be under $30.

Do not except much from this motel the rooms are a little run down and the TV is real small and no wifi. Now saying that, it is not a bad place to stay if you are low on funds. The place is safe and in a good location. Just remember you get what you pay for.
