Absolutely beautiful course! It has slopes, very well kept greens, it has sand pits, just everything to challenge you in a game.it has an excellent driving range and spot for practicing your putts. They have good clean carts, 18 holes, a front 9 and a back nine, tournaments and you can even take lessons.

The prices went up to pay for the new golf carts with GPS. While I understand the need for GPS carts... the geofencing is WAY too restrictive. There are literally places on the cart path where the cart won't go. Can't go within 100 ft of the front of a green... And don't even think about taking the cart to your car to load or unload your bags... or drive directly to the driving range from the club house. No warning. The cart just stops and won't go forward.

Now that you know all that up front I would still recommend this course. Front nine is a good Georgia style course. Back nine feels like you went to Texas. No trees. So it is good but different. Course is well maintained.

Very enjoyable course. Challenging variety to the holes - club selection is key on front nine. Treeless back nine presents a different approach given that it lacks reference points to gauge distance and the location your shot winds up at. However, played a Saturday recently and missed one hole due to jumping around a seven-some. In their defense I think they were locals who thought they had a late enough tee time to not be ahead of anybody else.

They had just aerated the greens, so of course they were terrible, but most of the time they are fine. The front and back 9 are completely different. The front is a normal woodland course, but the back is an attempt at a links style course, which doesn't work very well in south Georgia. I do know several people who like the back 9, but I am not a fan. Overall, like every state park course I've ever seen in Georgia, it is a well maintained, fun, inexpensive golf course. It offers a good challenge, without trying to kill you or your score card.

I'm the process of playing all the Georgia State Park golf courses. This is number six for me.
Brazells creed is a wonderful layout and it's an amazing difference from front to back. The front is a typical tree lined, hilly course and the back nine is a links style course, wide open with no trees but lots of waste areas.
The ride from the clubhouse to the tenth tee is a mile long. Amazing scenery through the swamp and very exciting.
Fairways on the front nine are rough at best and on the back nine, they're perfect. Greens on the front are in good shape but on the back, they have lots of weeds. I just don't understand how two sides could be this different.

GPS system on the carts are extremely frustrating. Our car locked down several times while on the cart path while trying to play and other people behind you waiting for you to move. The girl at the pro shop has a bit of an attitude as well
