It was the worst food I have ever had. The food had a foul odor. You can tell that they use old oil to cook the food. The hash browns were dark brown and had a horrible foul old oil smell. You all know what I am talking about oil that is used over and over again kept in a bowl or container to reuse. My Eggs were also cooked with the same oil because they had a foul taste as well. The waitress brought me coffee, no creamer, no spoon. I ordered the Chicken Fried steak breakfast meal. It had more batter over the thin layer, and I mean a thin layer of chicken fried steak that was not even a 2/16 of an inch thick. It had a 1/2" thick of batter on both sides. And they were still going to charge me for it. I told him no. And then someone from the back kitchen said I cook everything with fresh oil. I said no, you don't smell this food. And he said okay. Well, I'll take it off then. Like he was doing me a favor. This place should be investigated by the health department. I did not eat the food I left. I do not recommend this place. In fact, I regret going there. My stomach was in knots the whole day.

So this location thinks it's okay to call the cops on their customers with false accusations of being drunk? The cops even thought the call was ridiculous and uncalled for!! You wasted their time. Do better Durant Boomerang, this is just sad. Keep your personal opinions to yourselves. Don't give this place your business unless you wanna be dehumanized and publicly humiliated!!

Food is great!! Staff super nice and friendly!! Love looking at all the photos and signs on the walls.. only thing is it takes a bit to get your food but it’s ok.

This was our first time at Boomarang Diner and the food was very good. We loved the whole staff. They all get 5 stars. The 1950s atmosphere was so cool. Even the 1950s music just hit the spot. Will definitely come back.

Boomerang Diner in Durant is so cute inside with all the old timey decorations! It was very clean 🧹 inside and the staff were so friendly 🥰 and attentive! 💯 I had the Ultimate 🥓 BLT sandwich which was so scrumptious because of the spectacular amount of 🥓 bacon with mayo, 🥬lettuce, and 🍅 tomato! We had the Rebel Burger with 🥜Jif peanut butter and it was delicious as well!! We tried the 50/50 with fried 🥒 pickles and fried 🍄 mushrooms which were so tasty! We will definitely be back and suggest you try it as well! 😉

We we on our way thru and stopped in for a late breakfast(10am). The food was amazing for all of us. Our waitress was very fast and friendly. Did not have a problem with anything. If we are ever back in the area we will stop again. I jighly Recommend this place

Honestly the best chain diner I've ever been to.
Their pricing also feels more like 2010 not 2024 and that's amazing.
Appetizer, shared milkshake, and 2 meals for $25.
The staff was (two blonde girls night shift) super kind to me and my wife. Would 110% visit again.
