We were in town for an event and stopped in the blue plate cafe and had a great experience. The service was fantastic & the food was served fast and hot. Could’ve personally had more seasoning but we recommend the cheesy hash!

If you want the best breakfast in Huntsville with the cutest mix of adorable old men, come have breakfast here on a Saturday morning. I love trying breakfast places when I am traveling. Of course, I came to Google to find reviews, and this is where yall sent me. And I am here for it. I was able to walk in on a Sat morning at 745 am. and get seated right away. Server was here and ready almost immediately. I ordered the Blue Plate breakfast with Country ham, hashbrowns, eggs over medium and toast. My daughter ordered the Big Blue with cheesy browns and bacon. My eggs were on point, perfect yoke. But let me tell you about the star of the show. The freaking cheesy browns are the literal best I have ever had. Don't tell my MIL but this hashbrown casserole was amazing. Pancakes were big and fluffy. Nothing we had was bad. My only complaint which is not the fault of the Cafe was the water in Huntsville is gross. I could not drink it. It tastes like a mildewy filter but it tasted like that at every restaurant we went to in Huntsville. My coffee was great though so I drank that. I highly recommend The Blue Plate Cafe if you are in town.

If you want a solid Southern diner this is exactly what you are searching for. It has the look and feel of a diner that has survived the vicissitudes of time! We had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, boiled spinach and chicken in stuffing with giblet gravy, green beans, and even a dollop of canned cranberry sauce. We both had a yeast roll and blueberry cobbler. These were your dream meals from childhood! The cobbler was outstanding! The main courses were a gut punch of nostalgia you shouldn't resist. This is a must stop locale.

Great food located near the Huntsville Botanical Garden seemed to be a local favorite very busy classic meat n 3 very good value. Today was chicken and dumplins good portions will try them next time again in the area.

Okay so the waitress were rude, and didn’t have a friendly attitude… did not have a welcoming attitude… the dressing is not all that, it’s too much chicken in it… they probably need to start making it separately and giving people the option to add chicken, because I would order the dressing by itself… I tip based on overall experience, and if you be nice to me at the end , when it’s time to take my money, and give me change back, guess what, you’re not getting a tip from me, because I didn’t forget that quick how you and your Conrad’s made me feel , from the moment I walked in the door …
