This is a wonderful B& B. We were very pleased, especially with the location. Bed was comfortable. Couple of things, it was very cold in our room, kleenex tissue in the room would be nice. Breakfast was fine but I would have expected a really nice coffee cake or other baked goods. We liked the happy hour. It would have been nice to have fresh fruit available. Charles, Rebecca& especially Carol were very nice.

We just fell in love with Amelia Island and the best place to stay when visiting. The Blue Heron Inn Bed & Breakfast is owned by the nicest family you’ll ever meet and will be the only place we stay when we return. Here’s why? Charles and Rebecca, the owners are so welcoming and eager to get you settled so you can enjoy your time on the island. We stayed on the 3rd floor, the Hummingbird suite, and it exceeded all of our expectations. It’s the only room on the 3rd floor for a true sense of privacy, the jacuzzi tub was perfect us to relax after a day of exploring. Carol was equally as welcoming and prepared delicious breakfast to get the day started. The home is exceptionally clean and beautiful while walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. At 5pm, they host a ‘Happy Hour’ with light bites, beer and wine. Pro Tip: Book directly with Charles at the Inn for the Best Rate period. When you call the home he’ll take call and set you up. Thank you again for such a memorable Birthday weekend for my wife and decorating our room to make it extra special. We’ll be back soon.

Beautiful bed and breakfast in an excellent location to all that Amelia Island has to offer. The owners, Charles and Rebecca, are sweet and wonderful people. They provide a beautifully decorated, clean B&B and take great pride in their business. Their employees are also terrific; Carol is a gem and cooks the most delicious breakfast. We enjoyed the meals she prepared for us on their wrap around porch and could not have asked for a better experience. Every detail is thought of. From the beautiful white and gold plates to the matching coffee cups; linen napkins and placemats complete the setting. This sweet, caring couple wants their guests to feel like a member of their family and they have succeeded. We cannot wait to return to Amelia Island and stay at their establishment. If you enjoy beautiful, timeless decor in a cozy home environment with caring hosts and delicious breakfast, do not hesitate to book your stay with Blue Heron Inn Bed and Breakfast...you will be glad you did!

Perfect escape for a solo overnight! Convenient to all the restaurants, night life and the water! Lovely accommodations and will definitely be staying again! Love the wrap around porch and quiet atmosphere! Pool was a little dirty out back but courtyard was still charming. Thank you!!

Let’s start with the owners. Charles and Rebecca are the friendliest, most delightful hosts you will ever find. The Inn is a comfortable, romantic, quintessential “old” Amelia Island. It is walking distance to everything. Each morning there is a sit down hot breakfast and each evening you can enjoy happy hour on the front porch. All the little extras are thought of…soaps and shampoos, bottled water you can help yourself to, homemade cookies, etc. It was a delightful stay and we will definitely revisit this Inn next time we are on Amelia Island.

We had a lovely stay at The Blue Heron Inn. A welcoming Inn in a great location! The Inn was clean and had the feel of staying in someone’s home which included a nice breakfast and wine in the evening. The shower was a little challenging because you have to step into a big bathtub, but we made it work. We only stayed for one night, but if we are ever back to Amelia Island, we would be happy to stay again. Would recommend!

My husband and I came to Amelia Island for our anniversary. We had the best time and loved staying at the Blue Heron. Beautiful family owned bed and breakfast. Carol always served up a yummy breakfast and will accommodate even a picky eater or dietary restrictions. Highly recommend Blue Heron.

The amenities were not as described, the social hour consisted of a bowl of beers and 2 bottles of wine, and no staff. No staff present unless it's the owners babysitter cooking breakfast telling us about her college experiences, or the house keeper who shows up briefly but does not clean rooms. I order a special flower package for my fiancé's birthday, that was the reason for our stay, with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Did not receive the chocolate covered strawberries but fudge instead. When I addressed this with the owner, no compensation or refund was offered. The owners spend more time play and scream with their children outside by the pool instead of running their business next door. The breakfast was hotel quality at best. The walls are super thin and you can hear almost every footstep and most of the sounds from outside. I would not recommend this BnB.
