My wife and I had a weekend away at the Blue Door Cabins at Tenkiller.

This place is top notch! Rooms are clean and well maintained. Outdoor kitchen/common area is both convenient and relaxing. Staff is very accommodating, and honestly cares about the guests experience.

The location is close to both the lake and to town. It’s far enough out that you can see the stars clearly, but close enough to civilization for a late night run to the store.

Also, they have a designated lot to park your boat/trailer.

This really is a gem of a place. If you are planning a trip to Lake Tenkiller or surrounding areas, you owe it to yourself to check this place out for lodging. They hosted our film production crew and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. This would be a great place for multi-family gatherings, small corporate retreats, etc. The common areas were well stocked and peaceful. Highly recommend. Thank you for everything, Charlie!

Really enjoyed staying at Blue Doors Cabins in Tenkiller. Great plays to stay.Nice and quiet. People were great. Nice environment . Will definitely be staying there again if we come to the area. Thanks again for the great stay!

An amazing step back in time! Blue Doors recalls a time when we slowed down and celebrated the trip as much as the destination. The cabins are cozy and intimate. The grounds are an attraction all their own. But the shared space is the crown jewel. What a cool experience to spend time, and maybe even a share meal, with fellow travelers. We left there with new friends after our stay! And to top it all off, Blue Doors is nestled in beautiful eastern Oklahoma, close to Tenkiller Lake, antiquing and more. A stay at Blue Doors is definitely more than you will bargain for, in an amazing way!

We took an impromptu trip with another couple after the holidays and while the snow was unpredictable, we had an absolutely amazing time. Located super close to lake Tenkiller, the tenkiller dam, and local trout fishing just below the dam, the Blue Doors cabins offered an amazing experience. We hung out by the fire, watched some football and grilled steaks this weekend and hung out with friends and strangers. A’ho and Charlie were amazing hosts. We’ll be coming back in the summer!

We met up with a large group of people (almost all of the casitas were our group) and had a blast! The owners were on site and available to help us with everything from setting up karaoke on stage to getting the pizza oven going. I hadn’t visited this part of the state and it was even more beautiful than I expected with cold water streams for our kids to play in. This place would be excellent for a reunion or even as the base for a small wedding. We would happily return!

My partner and I stayed at Blue Doors and extended our stay because of how much we loved it! It was the getaway we needed, and the hosts were communicative and friendly:) Another really nice detail is that the roads out there have been re done and they are safe and lovely to drive on! We are obsessed with Blue Doors and have been telling everyone we know to check it out! 10/10 Favorite quick get away in Oklahoma!

We stayed at Blue Doors for a fantastic weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived and walked into the cutest casita, to exploring the grounds and all amenities, it was perfect. The casitas are beautiful, they have just what you need, complete with a refrigerator, coffee maker, dishes, a combo microwave/air fryer/convection oven, and comfy beds to rest after exploring all day.
They have a cute pond with a beautiful fountain, a small boat you can use to fish, and the pond is a perfect spot for watching the bats at dusk. A little bonus are the chickens and ducks who reside on the property.
They have a great community area complete with plenty of seating to gather around the fire pit, a big community table, grill and a brick pizza oven.
I highly recommend checking it out, whether it's just you, you and your partner or a group of friends, it's sure to be the perfect spot near Lake Tenkiller.
