MADISON, CAMELIA AND LISA

I have been to this restaurant for my sister Victoria’s birthday, with our brother Manuel; Madison gave us a supreme attention, she gathered a few of her coworkers and sang a happy birthday to my sister who turned 80. We all three had the Atlantic salmon and crab cakes.

A few days ago, l brought my sister again, l had the Atlantic salmon with risotto and carrots, my sister enjoyed some nachos and a rib eye, Camelia was swift to assist us, and her service was superb.

This morning l treated myself to a succulent breakfast with a picanha, l felt l was in heaven it was delicious, delicious, the meat perfectly cooked to my taste, its flavor was amazing no words to describe, my tummy is overjoyed and l told Elizabeth, Liz was marvelous.

I think l may come back for another meal, before l return to California.

PS: Came back 2/10/2025 for the picanha and was fortunate to be assisted by Madison again, her nice smile and great attitude.

Came here yesterday around 4pm. The hostess was great and sat us right away. I don’t really remember the servers name but it was a tallish lady and she was super nice and on top of getting everything out considering so many guests kept demanding items. The order was right and the food came out fairly fast. Not to mention the pricing is impeccable, even tho it’s located in this nice hotel. Usually places like that are unreasonably priced. I would come back again for sure.

I'm impressed with how good this was! I ate here 2 times in 2 days, and both times I was SHOCKED 😲 with how good it was! At night, we got some sushi and it was pretty good (maybe not the best, but still good). I tried the Sweet and Sour Pork and it was a new Favorite of mine! Plus, the staff was always so so friendly! Really great experience! Lots of choices!

The food was great but the timing of the food was odd. We had a big group and we all ordered at the same time. The 3 people that ordered sushi and all the Asian food, their food came out fast and they were waiting for us since they didn't want to eat without us. After a while, we told them to eat since their food was getting cold. The rest of us got our food 30 minutes later. Half of our group was done eating. We were hungry and order appetizers thinking that will come out faster but it came out the same time as the meal. We didn't mind the speed of the food too bad. All of the meals were delicious. Wish that every one ate the same time.

The Blue Coyote Café at Talking Sticks Casino is a nice dining experience. We were sat quickly and had a nice outside table. The server was quick to come over with water and ask if we were having drinks. Drink menu in hand, she handed it over and let us decide. Since this is my first time in here and in AZ, I wanted to try some local beer. With the suggestion of our server, we ordered a Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale. At that time, we also ordered lunch.

Drinks came out quickly and our meals shortly followed. I ordered the cheesesteak and was cautioned by our server that it had some spice to it. She wanted to make sure I knew so I was not surprised at first bite. It was a little spicy, but nothing I would have worried about, however, I appreciate her letting me know.

Beer was good and the food tasty. The cheesesteak had a good flavor as well as the veggies and cheese on top. If I had to say one negative, I wish the cheesesteak would have been a little warmer, but it that is about it. The side of fries were warm and crispy. Overall, a nice first meal at the resort.

Pretty standard casual casino dining experience. Food was okay, service was okay, vibe was okay. Reasonable prices for what you got, which is nice.

Fries were the best part. Beer selection was limited and underwhelming. Staff was friendly but slow to get to use. They checked in well enough after that.

it wasn’t very good. We got waited on pretty quick, but when we got our food, the oatmeal was cold and so were the eggs. The girl never checked back with us to see if everything was OK or to give us more coffee. She was an islander. Hashbrowns were too oily and cold, and my husband could not eat them. It said I got dried fruit with my oatmeal and all I got was a little tin of dried out raisins. They didn’t even toast the toast in the toaster. They handed it to him right out of the bag on his plate.

After reading some of the reviews, it sounds like quite a few people had the same issues we had.

I'm giving two stars because I had a great experience when we just ordered drinks from the bar and took them outside. This was late afternoon on a weekday, and our bartender was awesome. He made me a specialty margarita that was amazing!

When we had a meal there, though, it was a total disaster. I was there for a conference, so there were eight of us at a table on a Sunday evening. It wasn't busy at all, but we waited 45 minutes before our server even took our food order. The food came fairly quickly, and my chicken tinga quesadilla was good. After we were finished eating, we waited another 45 minutes for our checks. We had separate checks with the alcohol on one receipt and the food on another for meal reimbursement. That was no problem. The server took our cards and said that she could run them if we weren't in a hurry because she had to bring drinks to another table. Or she could ask her manager to do it so we could leave faster. We had been here for two hours at this point with several equally large groups arriving after us and leaving before us - so we said to have the manager run the cards.

They had our cards for 30 minutes. We couldn't find our server, so a member of my group asked another employee (who called herself the "executive hostess") to speak to the manager. The hostess said she didn't know where he was. We said that he was supposed to be running our credit cards, and she said, "He's in the back running them." Our group member said "you just said you didn't know where he was and suddenly you do?" and the hostess huffed away. We finally had to go to the bar to ask to speak to the manager. The manager came out and said he would get to running our cards right away - so all of our credit cards had just been sitting out in the open for more than 30 minutes.

We were there for a total of three hours. So beware.
